Did you get AWD? That’s the key to getting access to Acceleration Boost. And you will have to pay for it. It’s an opportunity for people like me (LR AWD) to get nearly the power of the Performance Model (and a smart cash grab by Tesla).

Wow, this comment shows a complete fundamental lack of understanding of the Model 3. The LR AWD is the same car as the Performance model, minus the bigger brakes/wheels. Tesla locks up/restricts battery power in the LR AWD so they can charge more for the Performance Model. The Acceleration...

Acceleration Boost still not available as upgrade on website, but did speak with Support who recognized the problem and forwarded to another department. I do have Track Mode now for some reason. Think it happened in recent update. I received about 10 updates over last month and a half.

Just read interesting article online with Elektrek about Tesla desperately trying to move inventory vehicles unmatched to customer orders by end of Q3. If you don’t have a VIN and want a 3 quickly, maybe worth a call to Tesla and request inventory sheet to pick from.
