Who has lost regen with winter tires?

These are brand new X-Ice3's you had put on? If so, then there will definitely be some loss of regen on the new tires. Your 3 will learn and adapt to the new tires.

Who has lost regen with winter tires?

I had my XI3's put on last Thursday, and I have not noticed the reduced regen like I did last winter when I first put them on. In fact, I would say the regen is as good as ever has been.

    What's your rated range again?

Here's a great video done by YouTuber Tech Forum on how he just re-calibrated his BMS to fix his range loss. I'm going to try this in the next week or so.

It seems that a lot of AWD cars from that timeframe have about 480km range now.

V10 in Canada - what will it come with?

Unless you ordered your Tesla before July 1, 2018, you're going to eventually have to pay for Premium Connectivity. This is why I ordered my Model 3 on June 30, 2018. Here's the info straight from the Tesla site: Will there be a trial period for Premium Connectivity? For all Model S and Model...

I remembered to look today, and I have no regen dots at 80%.

    What's your rated range again?

That's awesome! It looks like your car has had very little battery degradation over the year. The last time I Supercharged to 100% I had 483km of range. I'm not too concerned as I know that you can experience degradation in the first few months of owning the car, and then it will stabilize...

    What's your rated range again?

I'll have to check tomorrow morning. I charged to 90% this morning, but I didn't look to see if there were regen dots. Interesting thought on vampire drain having an effect in the range calculation. I work from home, so there are days were I do very little driving.
  19. G

    What's your rated range again?

I've got an AWD LR Model 3. Just over a year old and I get about 430km at 90%. I've tried to recalibrate the BMS as well, but no luck. I figure I'm somewhere between 3% to 4% degradation after a year.

    Canadian CHAdeMO charging

I got a chance to test out the new Petro-Canada chargers out at Aldersyde this afternoon with my Model 3. When I arrived to test them out it was fenced off and a crew was installing stickers to one of the stations. One of the workers moved the fencing to allow me to test on the other station...

Poll: Do you plan on buying a chademo adapter?

I posted this earlier in this thread. Tesla Bjørn did a CHAdeMO speed test on a Model S, and it actually ramps up as it gets fuller. Poll: Do you plan on buying a chademo adapter?

Poll: Do you plan on buying a chademo adapter?

Tesla Bjørn did a CHAdeMO speed test on a Model S, and it actually ramps up as it gets fuller. The higher SoC you have, the higher the voltage you will get with CHAdeMO. It's opposite of what a Supercharger would be. You're best charging rate is starting at around 75%-80%.

Poll: Do you plan on buying a chademo adapter?

The charging infrastructure in the prairies and Southern BC is not that well built out. Having the Chademo adapter is a good safety net to have when travelling. Yeah, I may not need it, but it will be nice to have in the trunk just in case.

    Vancouver Charging Options

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of the Surrey Superchargers for topping up on the way in and on the way out. How busy are the Level 2 Chargers in the area? I know there are a lot of Tesla's and other EVs in the Vancouver area. Will I be dealing with long waits? My biggest fear is...
