Ohmconnect still "penalizes" solar users by comparing their baseline reduction to 2000 watts. I also have east facing panels, so no production during usual ohmhours. So if my normal use is 200 watt hours and I reduce by 50% to 100 they see it as 100/2000 = 5% reduction. Goodbye status...

I kept on getting rejected for the VPP despite enrolling from Ohmconnect a couple weeks ago. Took about 3 weeks, but they've finally unenrolled me and was able to join. Have there been any events recently? It's been well over 100 for about two weeks here.

This is what I'm interested in. I can only do one load reduction program at a time and currently use Ohmconnect. I wish there was more info on VPP (number of events per season, etc) so I can evaluate. Currently staying with Ohmconnect but it has become less profitable with Powerwalls.

Unfortunately if they don't scratch my back I'll just stop scratching their back. I have no need to keep the VPP active, happy to stay behind the meter and pay them their minimum fees!

We're on a NEM2-Paired Storage interconnection agreement. Customer service agent wouldn't budge, so I went ahead and emailed an engineer I have a contact with to see if he can offer any clarification.

They claim that I'm allowed to export to the grid for the Virtual Power Plant that I'm enrolled in but wouldn't be allowed for the export everything option. Which makes no sense. They say its a PG&E restriction.

Can anyone confirm they have a 3 Powerwall system with PG&E and the export everything option active? Tesla support claims max number of Powerwalls to export to the grid is 2 with PG&E and won't budge.

Does the export everything toggle appear only if you're in time of use mode or can you be in self powered?

I've never had the sleeping issue with the cars...in fact I've found the opposite where the cars go to sleep during the Ohmhour and then Ohmconnect "can't connect with them" afterwards to turn the charging back on. I charge mainly at work for free, so even if there was more phantom drain it...

Going in and out. Looks like generation data (daily energy amount) has updated but Powerwalls were at 26% this morning when it went out so not fully working. Current solar production and house usage are also from when it went out this morning and not current (should be above 7 kW at this time).

Getting the same thing here. Tried rebooting our modem and router, then re-paired the gateway and Powerwalls, but no dice. Glad to see it's not just me!

In a western suburb of Sacramento. Ordered 12 kW array with 3 Powerwalls in late June. Installed middle of August, PTO late October. Powerwalls were installed incorrectly by crew so system didn't actually turn on behind the meter until early September. Inspection passed within a week....time...

Are you in the virtual power plant? Mine was limited to 4 kW export due to an issue on their side, Tesla fixed it within about a week.

For those who have a 4 kW export limit to the grid (mine started limiting this week after exporting just fine all weekend), there should be a fix next week.

Not sure, don't have the firmware yet. My Powerwalls keep on self-faulting and dropping out for around an hour and this is what engineering told me is coming out soon. I had asked about the inverter reboot too and that was his answer.

In my case it was miswired communication wires. Sounds like the new firmware fixed some of the issues too but they really didn't elaborate.

If anyone is experiencing the daily inverter reboot in the mornings (ours happens around 7:30am every morning for 10-15 minutes) that occurs during solar production times, that should be fixed in the new firmware update. It should be moved closer to 6:30am. Also if you're having issues with...

Finally a good ending. Inspection coordinator was able to get a support team out here with an engineer and a technician today. They spent about 5 hours here. Technician said they rewired all the comm wires, looks like they replaced some sort of wiring harness too. Firmware was updated too...

I call customer service daily. My advisor Tawni has a nasty habit of "reviewing my file" and disconnecting me mid hold while I wait, so I usually have to call twice to get someone else. The electrician who installed and inspection coordinator are both monitoring my account and emailing me...

I can't login to anything. If I reset the gateway and connect to its ssid it just tells me I have the wrong password to my tesla account. Three blinking powerwalls, a greyed out powerwall on the app with no solar panels showing, and if you refresh it just says "no recent data available".

I'm not aware of the A pillars having anything in them as they take the trim pieces off to tint it. I think what the tint shop person means to say is that the liquid from the tint can get into the MCU which is underneath the dash there where excess liquid flows to. I had mine tinted with 3m...

I had 3m crystalline 40% put on everything but the windshield (70% on that) at Premium Glass & Tint in Rancho Cordova. They did an amazing job. They put down towels and rope towels while tinting the windshield to prevent the computer from getting wet. Highly recommend them!

Love our new Taptes chargers. Definitely can't beat it at $49!

Ha ha, literally sitting in the tint shop right now getting 70% put on the windshield. I had a rock chip from a road trip in May that I finally got fixed in late June and now got a chance to get into the tint shop.

I put 3m crystalline 40% on everything but the windshield. I love it...darkens the top slightly (but still very visible out of) and awesome heat rejection!

Got the matte white console wrap installed this afternoon. Had to use the one up sheet since I forgot how to follow directions, but afterwards I thought it turned out pretty well! Another satisfied customer! White is in stock now on Amazon FYI.

I bought a roll of Reflectix and cut it to the shape of the windows. Works pretty well for ten bucks.
