I built such a switch from basic parts: 2 x 15-30 outlets, one dryer 6' cable, face plate, box and 250V 30A switch. You can order it all at HD if you prefer. It cost me ~$120 plus my time and the most complicated thing was drilling the round holes in the plastic box for the outlets.

Correction! There is NO definitive answer on the 3. We only know that Roadster is ok but X and S are not. The jury is still formally out for 3 because it is not formally classified by Canada based on what is posted on the gov't websites.

I got a set of these mats from amazon and they seem to have a very nice fit and also have just enough of lip to keep all the mess away from the carpet. This set also comes with little mats for cup holders and storage compartments.

If you have a plain 3D make sure that is clear with your insurer. My insurance company had to readjust my rates by 25% because I was not interested in paying for performance and their system was unable to differentiated the two 3 models. My premiums are inline with similar AWD but cheaper cars...

IMHO: my reservation did not help me one bit... and I was told so by multiple TSLA people... It is just one data point. The website generated a 2nd order and never used my reservation (this happened to a few other people, it was not my goof). I had to cancel my original reservation to get $1k...

I also asked Tesla to add a referral code... and have a case number but still have not seen it show up as "done" or in my buddy's account. My home delivery is still a few days away...

Just checked my delivery page and see that my price has indeed dropped by $1k! Great news for anyone else who ordered during $5-6k AWD pricing regime!

Had the same problem: a 2nd reservation was created in used vs my reserved one. I called when I ordered and was told it would be fixed. It was not and I had cancel my reservation to get back my $1k. I am actually pretty annoyed about being conned to give TSLA a $1k interest free loan for 2.5...

That is probably correct take on what is going on! TSLA is very good at disclosing information when it is suitable for them. They are an IT or auto company?! I would also say that the complexity for figuring this kind of problem out (think backpack problem) is non trivial but to assume that...

What you are saying is that folks with reservations gave TSLA a ~2.5 years interest free loan on $1k?! It does look like they are using some type of a prioritized queue?! I would point out that there might be regional anomalies because delivery centers/routes might the bottleneck.... or...
