My MCU has the infamous black screen. However I’m still able to connect to the car via the app. I know it’s the Emmc issue. My car is only charging at 8 amps versus the normal 32 amps, is this normal for a emmc failure? Since the MCU is dead I can’t check to see if I can adjust the amps.

Thanks for all of responses. I decided to stick with my S. I can’t get over the front end of the 3 versus my S. The side profile and rear of the 3 are very similar to my S (looks wise). IMO the front end of the S is sexy. The front end of the 3 is attractive but at certain angles just looks goofy.

I mount mine on the designated spot to the right of the mirror. It’s been hit and miss, certain tolls pick it up and others don’t. I believe there is an option to mount it in the nosecone area.

I have the same exact setup. I have no rubbing whatsoever. Axis MS 21x9 front Axis MS 21x10 rear I do have the Falken Azenis tires. But they are the same size 245 front 265 rear I don’t have air suspension so that might be it. Weird nonetheless

Question: since a standard model should already have the harness. Could I buy the factory sub and plug it in and be set? Or does the factory amp need to be upgraded as well?

I’m not sure if it will give you a direct psi readout. The Gen 2 TPMS gives the individual tire pressures. Not sure when the switchover to Gen 2 was made. Best bet is to get a hand gauge and check.

Guessing here, The factory tires have acoustic foam inside, guessing that some of that foam has come loose and that’s the sound you’re hearing. Take it to a tire shop and have them dismount the tire from the rim. Also have you checked to make sure the tires are properly inflated?

My PDR guy says steel has a memory. It wants to return to its previous shape. Aluminum bends and wants to stay in that position. He charges a premium for working on aluminum cars.
