Can someone explain why we can’t get our software updates OTR if we already pay for premium connectivity?

probably started in the early days due to all of us that free premium connectivity for life before any of the streaming started, and they stuck with it because why pay for any more data.

GTA - Condo parking spot outlet

I have some co-workers who did it recently, took a couple of times of talking to the condo board, Condo didn't cover any of the cost, was only able to use the one electrician that the condo board had on file, it was about $7k, not including the charger which they provided.

    Supercharging “clunks”?

I have a 2018 LR, get several loud clunks with supercharing and always have. Was told it's normal and have heard newer model 3's don't do this, These are much louder then the relays or pump's etc. I would say its pretty close in sound to dropping a can of pop on the rear floor, sorta a bang...

    SC lineup in Vaughan

How many times have you encountered a full supercharger before the new models arrived. If you lookup supercharger fights they did happen in California when only the S and X were around. The main issue is we went from having maybe a thousand or so tesla's in the GTA around 2018, to now tens of...

Is Tesla Canada changing their loaner policy?

I think due to us lowly Model 3 and Y drivers, Tesla is now considered a premium brand and not luxury. Also Mercedes Oakville now charges for a loaner, i guess it's a rental now, used to get one for free a couple of years back.

Do I need permit for Tesla Wall Charger if I already installed a permitted 14-50 Outlet?

Anyone same as me hesitate to buy a new Tesla because of FSD?

I don't think I would miss the FSD, but would miss the Enhanced Autopilot, mostly summon, and wouldn't want to pay another $7800, just for that.

Real world M3 RWD (standard battery) Range

Model 3 LR, winter around 0 degrees, if many short trips about 4km-10km each, I've gotten as poor as 140km on a charge, best case on one long trip with preheating I've gotten about 400km. So it will vary wildly depending on what you are doing.

Real world M3 RWD (standard battery) Range

There is a lot of things that will change the real world range. Was that one long trip vs many short trips, if it was many short trips then the car cooling down and heating each time would use a lot of range. There will be a very big difference in range driving 130 vs 100 Did you change to...

    How would you handle this...

get some wood pcs, use a soldering iron to burn, you much be charging to park here, place them in front of their tires as if you were using a tire chalk, so when they try to pull out the car won't move and they will have to get out and move them, repeat until they stop parking there

"Proactive" 12v battery replacement - good idea or overkill?

From what i see it seems to be people who live in hot areas tend to need the replacement sooner then those that don't. I wonder we ran a survey of park it out in the sun all day vs a garage in a hot climate would that paint an even clearer picture of how soon the battery should be replaced

$3500 price difference for Model 3 Long Range AWD vs Performance. Which one should I go with?

Depends on what you use the car for and what part of your life you are in. For me LR AWD was the right choice for the extra bit of range, the amount of times we've put home in the navigation and got something like you'll get there a 2%, would have meant a lot of extra(over the last 4 years)...
