Hi all, I’ve noticed in this cold weather, that only the bottom part of the read window appears to defrost when I set the car to max defrost. Looking at it - the rear window is two sets of traces. Is this expected, or does my rear window need changing?

Just had mine delivered by a Go Zero driver. Gotta say - looks perfect, one piece of PPF needs some work (should be able to do this myself), and there are some rattles (although this could be the childseat I've put in already!). The car is still in "Delivery mode" - so waiting for it to appear...

I can't see this being easy for Tesla to change. my M3 dash developed "bubbles" on it, and it took 4 service appointments to fix it eventually, requiring an entire dashboard transplant (not just the top!)

Its in Tesla's T&C's not to resell with X months I believe.

I really hope Tesla cancels their order (or cancels their ability to make future orders at least).

Finally got my text... By my surprise - no collection, but a delivery. Perhaps they've run out of delivery slots and pushing the remaining cars out by carriers!

Maybe less so with the MY, but a colleague ordered a M3 RWD - and Tesla were heavily pushing premium colours and alloys for faster delivery. He’s still waiting…

Octopus just called to let me know I've been allocated a VIN..! (This time - without paying more!). Looks like I'm heading for an end of June collection. Having spoken to them - it sounds like they've produced more cars with 19"s than 20"s this time - which is a bit of a kick in the teeth...

And its happened.. the Octopus date in their tracker has now moved back (End of Aug now). Most likely in protest to not taking up their "accelerated delivery" offer. Call my cynical, but I feel us older orders will be resigned to the back of the queue now...

Which agent was that? There's one on today that did the same to me... I have a feeling that they are changing policy at the moment - giving the Lease Co the ability to change allocations (just a theory - but I think this would be a bad thing - I preferred being as close to the "true" Tesla...

This could explain things you're right (although the registered owner should still be the lease co..)

Yep - so in theory this is an order from the last 2 weeks... Very very shady if they're allocating that many recent orders ahead of orders from 2 months ago...

Ok.. just had some shady behaviour from either Octopus or Tesla... They just called to offer a car in June (Hooray!!) - however the lease would require re-calculation as this would be £1,000 more due to the price increase. I'd mentioned that I'd ordered prior to the price increase and this...

Yeh - there are definitely a few people allocated ahead of you. Have you contacted them to ask if there is a block or any issues with your order?

Just check on my RN (via Lease), and received "July / August" from Oliver.. I haven't heard anyone else get a July date recently... (Octopus tracker still showing July - despite telling me it will be August and that this will update).

I had a frustrated exchange with them yesterday on this.. Although my tracker is still showing 31st July... !?! MY White / Black / 19 - ordered 7th April. Based on your order date ... others have been delivered in front of you right? very frustrating!

Just received a proforma / generic email from Octopus saying we are likely delayed to August “if we have not received a date from Tesla”. Gotta say - for the good communication upfront - sending out a generic update like this so late (I have been chasing a week) is poor form.

I think most peoples frustrations are how brutal the cut off's are. I ordered mine in late March through a salary sacrifice scheme - if they would have ordered it when I signed the paperwork, I'd probably have a VIN allocated by now, but as it took 2 weeks for HR to approve, I'm now looking at...

But even the new EDD's for MYLR's are out at the *end* of Q3 and into Q4. It very much feels like the UK is the forgotten market this time around.

V. v. disappointing here - the only benefit may be a bunch of cancellations as a result (for those of us that remain). Not sure how they can justify "July" -> "Aug/Sept" -> "Sept/Oct" - this just makes no sense!

Yep done - all I get is “we’re chasing operations for an update for you” Considering how awesome every other part of their process has been I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt here - but still disappointing to require this much chasing!

Did you call them or email them? I've chased 3 times in the past 2 weeks and not had any meaningful response. So is your date currently July 31st? -> so will this move to Aug 1st now?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the silence I've been having from Octopus (has anyone else heard from them?) is due to an impending update... At least thats what I keep telling myself!
