sounds like the auto brake lever kicking in on and off. i heard of this on my car before but very rarely, only during auto-pilot on surface street and when it is unsure to go or not at traffic light.

Go for it! You won't regret the extra range and better power and handling in bad weather. Plus your daily 80-90% recommended charge-to level will be of decent range. I have no regrets with my AWD LR.

Excellent idea to carry spare!! Got into a similar anxious situation as well (i.e. no working USB) and wishing I had a spare. Totally worth the extra cost for peace of mind.

Same for me where my insurance paid first while going after theirs. Parts was the longest wait for me, about 3 weeks, while actual repair took 2-3 days.

Had the same thought for a second, then thinking unless the software is also using the same 'inaccurate' stats to decides if car can continue or should shut down.

(Now) + FREE performance upgrade as well (e.g. 20" wheels, red calipers, lowered, spoiler, etc.)
