MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

My current ride height is: 26 ¾ front left 26 ½ rear left 26 ⅞ front right 26 ⅝ rear right is this within spec or somewhat normal? How does this effect the drive vs if I was even on all corners? Do you guys actually try to have it all even or if you're 1/8th off its not a big deal? I'm...

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

No bottoming out since I've raised my car although I'm at 5/5 c/r front and 3/3 c/r rear. Installed the front lip and boy does it make a difference around corners lol I had it at 2/3 in the rears and the handling was amazing up until 50 MPH where I started to feel the understeer so I changed it...

Anyone on MPP and THEN added swaybars? Any improvements?

Can we have a conversation on understeer/oversteer with damper setting? I was running 5/5 c/r front, 2/3 c/r/ rear and the cornering and handling was amazing up until 50MPH where you start to feel the understeer in the corners. Wherever I pointed the car it just was telepathically there but I...

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

Question on bottoming out: I was previous on Eibach springs with no issues on bottoming/scraping. It was perfect. Recently switched to MPP Sport coilovers and lowered the car about another inch (ground to fender about 26.5", with Eibachs it was 27 1/4") and I started bottoming (prolly twice now...

    Lowering the Model 3

I was previous on Eibach springs with no issues. It was perfect. Recently switched to MPP Sport coilovers and lowered the car about another inch and I started bottoming out. Could it be that the car is too low or could I avoid that by adjusting the dampers? Ideally what ratio should I have the...

Rotor Retention Bolt (Aftermarket Wheel Install)

So in essence your adding 20mm & 25mm? Is it hard to remove the bolt? Im thinking of adding 12mm on the rear of my car but I heard only 20mm is the only choice??

    Model 3 Performance Spacers

So I tried to put spacers on my P3D+ last year and my p3d+ has aftermarket wheels but it didn't fit because there was this one little piece that was sticking out, is there anything I can do about it? I want to put spacers on or at least try again

Anyone on MPP and THEN added swaybars? Any improvements?

What if I had the setting on soft for both? Would I still need wider tires? Im not looking to change my tire size just for the swaybars. Maybe 245/35/20 at some point

Anyone on MPP and THEN added swaybars? Any improvements?

Hmm thats interesting. I'm still on stock tires.. well I already bought UP sways, anyone want brand new ones? lol
  17. skrtskrt

Anyone on MPP and THEN added swaybars? Any improvements?

I got UP sways. My main goal is to be planted as I drive fast around corners and curvy roads. Would UP sways help or not help me?

    BMW F80 M3 v Model 3 Performance--From Someone that Owns Both

It's been a while since I drove a BMW M4/M3 comp (last year) but having put MPP coilovers, front lower control arm bushings on my P3D with MPP's "Less grip, track setting", I can honestly say it is so much better then the M4/M3 in handling, cornering, steering but I don't want to just rely on my...

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

I notice I get more body roll with 10/8 compression rebound all around compared to 12/8 fronts, 10/8 rears. Anyone else notice that or have similar experience? Would love to know why as I'm still new to suspension/compression/rebound stuff 😅

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

Thanks so much for the help guys! I managed to finally be able to adjust the front compressions just on the floor alone. For anyone else who is curious or might want to do this in the future I'll just sum up with: 1. Turn your wheel all the way to one side 2. You will be reaching your arms...

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

You do this with no jacks and only on the floor? Tbh im having trouble locating the conpression setting even with the wheels turned all the way to one side. I tried to use some wood planks and a floor jack and I still couldnt find it

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

That's exactly what I do with the front. Just take the 2 pieces out! As for the front lower compressions, which way are you imagining laying down?
  24. skrtskrt

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

I actually find the front rebound to be the easier then the lower compression as I can't even see the numbers or +/- while on the floor. I turned the steering wheel all the way one direction and it's still very hard to figure it out or even locate the settings because its not at eye distance...

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

So I just installed the MPP Sports and 10R/12C is too soft and comfortable for me and has a bit of a body roll which I'm trying to eliminate. I think my eibach springs were a bit more stiffer/aggressive and I prefer it that way, it was comfy but also sharp in steering and cornering. Any...

    UP vs MPP Coilover

Haha I'm just curious if the Eibach springs + Swaybars ($800) is enough for my daily needs vs mpp coilovers + rear camber arms, front bushing ($3500) +$500 for swaybars. Mainly just hard driving around the backroads and twisty/curvy roads. Or if should keep coilovers and return the swaybars.
  28. skrtskrt

Anyone on MPP and THEN added swaybars? Any improvements?

Has anyone already been on MPP Sport Coilovers and then added UP swaybars later? Did you notice any difference? I know on stock suspension sway bars do help but with coilovers it could be too stiff which leads some people to change the front and rear setting to soft for the swaybars. Curious to...

    UP vs MPP Coilover

So I ended up getting MPP sport coilovers with rear camber arms and front arm bushings + UP swaybars, some say I don't need swaybar and that If I do I should put it in softest setting. Curious to see if anyone else is running swaybars + coilovers and your experience

    UP vs MPP Coilover

So far I've had Eibach springs on my P3D+ for over a year and they have been fantastic but I want to improve the handling and driving. I have no plans to track the car. I'm mainly focused on having fun driving hard around corners/curvy/twisty roads in the backyards. I recently just ordered UP...

MPP AWD/Performance Coilover Impression and Installation

I'm thinking of getting coilovers but the whole conversation of "compression" and "you have to turn it counter clock wise x amount of times" etc is a little overwhelming for me. How much of this do I actually have to worry about?

    Model 3 Performance Spacers

I was one of the first of that vendor to try the wheels for for my Model 3. For flush fitment of that wheel spec it is 20x9 ET32 compared to my ET35 And for the rear you would need staggered 20x10 ET35 However Im already stuck with mine (20x9 ET35 squared). I'm also new to wheels and fitment...

Eibach Releases Performance Pack Lowering Springs

So far loving it, I also got newer wheels (20x9) as oppose to stock 20x8 so I can't tell which caused the better handling. It just feels more grounded and corners feel more planted. The only thing I feel is that I now need wider tires lol. Currently have 235/35/20. I also feel like I want to...

Trying to close the fender gap of my lowered car. Would new tires help?

Currently running stock 235/30/20 on my new 20x9 wheels and I also have on the Eibach lowering kit. I need new tires anyways because the stock ones keep slipping every time I launch. Im thinking about getting 245's squares. Would 245/40/20 or 245/45/20 help reduce the fender gaps?
