These guys did a terrible job on my 3 and refused to make it right. There are still dust bubbles everywhere on all the windows. I would never recommend them to anyone...

Those strong struts bent my hood upward so I took them off...

I am using Prime Line SP-9609 spring with stock struts and it haven't fail me yet...

I got dust bubbles on most windows especially the windshield and back. They had to redo most of the windows but it actually look worse the second time around. They blamed it on Tesla's windows and the 3M Crystalline film being difficult to work on...

Just avoid Rodz Tint Shop in Fountain Valley. They did a terrible job on my 3. :(

Mine also move around a little bit on the 2 front flaps. However, I put a small strip of 3M double sided tape near the top between the flap and the body panel and it's pretty secured now. Give it a try...

I did this too. I think it looks better with the flange out and over the bumper. Not sure if this is the correct way though...

I added a little 3M double sided tape at the top of the front flaps in addition to the screws and it seems to keep it from moving around without the tape. There's a little bit of a gap on both sides at the top of the flaps though...

Where did you get the U-nuts and which one that fits? Thanks!

Rodz tint shop in Fountain Valley did a pretty shitty job on my M3 and refused to fix all the dust bubbles after the second time around. If you are picky then avoid them at all cost. They blamed all the imperfections on the Model 3 windows and how difficult it is to tint 3M Crystalline film...

I am using Prime SP-9609 that's 18 lbs capacity and i'ts been working great as expected so far for me...

I got the one from Amazon (Prime-Line SP 9609 spring) and it works well so far. Not as easy to close as the weaker spring but good enough to close with one hand. The main thing is that it opens with the stock struts as intended. Thanks guys!

I used 2 large springs as Stephen503 that I got from Home Depot (didn't use the 2 small ones) but the frunk won't open any gap without the stronger struts. I have to use my little finger to get it open each time. I guess I will have to find a stronger spring or something or go back to the...

Without the stronger struts installed, the hood won't pop up with this weaker spring in place. I am trying to find a stronger spring but weaker than stock to pop up the hood but also easier to close the frunk. Still looking for that right balance...

I would like to know this answer about the heavier spring too. I feel that spring from Home Depot is too soft and won't work correctly without the strut mod. Thanks!

Get the sunshade from Taptes for $20. It fits nicely. Too bad they don't have a clone of Tesla's glass roof sunshade...
