@tommybell99 I'm in the same situation as you and with the exact same symptoms you have. My next course of action is to basically swap the electrical harnesses over from my working seats, to the gen 4 premium seats.

Those are next-gen seats and they will fit, but you will need a seat adapter that Tesla sells. little more info in this post: Wiring diagram to swap Model S 1st gen seats into next gen seat car

Gimped P85D owner here. I concur on adding 50% more time to the estimated time to get a realistic estimation.

I bought my used car from a local used car dealer. They bought it at auction from Washington state. And now i have a nose cone S with purple stickers. :)

I learned that Tesla opened a supercharger there and then thought, why not. Never driven across the border. Let's see what life is like south from us. Food is great, your dollar stretches about 4x further and all the fresh churros. My model S always gives me a sense of adventure and daring.

@Russell I did make an overnight stop in LA in both directions. I didn’t do it all in one day. I would do this trip again and explore more of the wineries there.
