Ah, got it. That makes sense. Update: Got a prompt for software update within 5 minutes of connecting to wifi. Now on 2018.39.6 (from 2018.28.5)

    Software Update 2018.39.6 8377b4d

I got an email from the service center: "It looks like the vehicle is currently attempting to download v9.0 firmware, but is waiting until the vehicle is connected to WiFi, since this is a larger update. Is there a way for you to connect to a WiFi network at home or work?" So I've bought...

    Software Update 2018.39.6 8377b4d

    Software Update 2018.39.6 8377b4d

    Software Update 2018.39.6 8377b4d

I called customer service. After waiting on hold for 1 hour, I was told that updates 'happen randomly' and that they couldn't do anything to 'push it out' and just to 'wait'. Any suggestions on what to do? :-(

    Software Update 2018.39.6 8377b4d

The Tesla customer support line has a >60 minute wait time :-D I'm not sure if I should be selecting the option to speak to a local service center - maybe I'll just try that on Monday.

    Software Update 2018.39.6 8377b4d

Darn. I'm stuck on 2018.28.5. Should I call service? Seems like there have been many updates since then...
