Problems with Auto Lane change in 32.12.2

Maybe the TPS transmitters are sending an error message that they don't send when the tire is properly inflated? Maybe that signal is picked up by the Ultrasonic sensors? Maybe the frequencies caused bu the contact patch on an under inflated tire generates a masking frequency? I am an audio...

Problems with Auto Lane change in 32.12.2

I have a theory on the tire inflation suspicion. I too have had the issue of my car not making left lane changes under NOA or Autopilot. I also had my tire pressures drop significantly with the onset of Fall cool temps. I have had my tires inflated properly and will test my theory today...

    Small problems. Longevity

Have these small problems cost you anything? I have found this car to be by far the cheapest to maintain of any that I have owned. I will celebrate my 1 yr anniversary with this car next week. I currently have 19,623 miles on my car. The only expense I see coming on the horizon is a new set...

    Carbon fiber spoiler loose

I have now had my spoiler for about a month. I live in the Palm Springs area so temps have been sitting at around 115 degrees this week. I was very happy with the initial installation of the spoiler and both sides were securely fastened. I have been very careful to NOT use the spoiler as a...

    Autopilot Near-Collision

Can I assume that those of you who are using Autopilot on "surface streets" know that this system is not designed or approved for that use? It states pretty clearly that these Autopilot functions are to be used only on limited access roadways. From the current manual: Warning: Do not use...

    Tire rotation

Thank you for the suggestion. I just had an alignment at the end of my body work. This was a week before I went in for the rotation.

    Tire rotation

For what it is worth, I took my car in for a rotation last week. They measured all of the tires for wear and told me the tire rotation was unnecessary. I have almost 13K since Late October and had the tires rotated at 6500 miles.

    Bodyshop recommendation SF East Bay

Having just been through this, do yourself a favor and ask Tesla where to send it. Their affiliated body shops have direct ordering access with Tesla whereas others have a more difficult time ordering parts.

It showed the side view of the vehicles going across the display. I tried it once again later, when the traffic was moving faster, and it wasn't as accurate.

    Software Ver. 2019.20.2.1

HW 2.5. I have just gotten my car back from the body shop after 5 weeks for a front left quarter panel, Front Bumper cover and some bits underneath. Tesla had pushed me to 16.2, I think, when they reset the firmware on the new headlamp and repeater last week.

Has Any P3D+ Owners Gotten Carbon Fiber Spoiler?

My spoiler was installed today. Looks good. I live in an oven so I will avoid touching that baby as the adhesive will probably be challenged.

    Be Safe Out There

I completely agree. This is why we all carry insurance (hopefully). I believe I will get my car back in good condition at some point soon. The real issue with little events like this is the effect on resale later. Now CARFAX will have a record and the car will always be haunted by the incident.

    Be Safe Out There

I'm not sure how the officer dealt with the other driver. He brought me the drivers paperwork to photograph and told me she admitted to not seeing me at all when turning left. I was assigned to call AAA to get a tow truck while he dealt with the other driver. I don't think the officer knew I...

    Be Safe Out There

Not sure what sounds the car was making at the time as I was swerving right to try and avoid the contact. We were going pretty slow, or at least I was, when we made contact. Maybe 10 mph? And yes, both are always enabled.

Would you join the Elon's Robo-Taxi Fleet with your Tesla?

I am sure that in 5 years, when I am ready to move to newer technology, Tesla will take my Model 3 in trade to add to their Taxi fleet. Since it will still be of good value to them I hope to get a decent trade in price towards my new ??? I live in the Southern CA desert and there are many...

Trying to buy a used model 3 performance

Sounds to me like a bad idea for you to buy this particular automobile. You already are having issues with it and you haven't purchased it yet. I would wait until Tesla offers used Model 3's and have them be responsible for all of these details. That used car dealer should know everything...

Possible mold in Trunk Storage Space

Autopilot braking error ... not good

I had a similar experience recently. I was driving East on the 210 Fwy in the HOV lane. Traffic was moving at around 35-40 mph. Everything stopped suddenly in front of me and I waited just a 1/2 second to see what the car would do. I then applied the brakes hard enough to activate the ABS...

I hope Tesla Lowers the Supercharging Rates

I have a question which may or may not apply to this discussion. I was recently at the Harris Ranch Supercharger on a trip to the factory. This is an industrial setup with 37? charging stalls and the roof's are all solar panels. I assume they have Powerwalls in the locked stalls to store...

My Least Favorite Sound In My Model 3

My Least Favorite Sound In My Model 3

I took a ride from Cathedral City to Phoenix to go to the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction. Autopilot for 90% of the trip. Only one phantom braking incident. I discovered a new sound that I really don't like and there is nothing Tesla can do to fix it. It is the sound of rocks hitting the...

Model 3 review - After moving from RWD to AWD

I test drove a P3D for my first experience and there was no going back from there. My Owner Advisor took me up the Palms-To-Pines Hwy (74) for my test drive. SPOILER ALERT: My P3D came with its spoiler

How does the spoiler affect the trunk closing process? It seems that I tend to grab the area where the spoiler will live to close the trunk. Will that stress the spoiler over time? Do you that have them close it a different way? I do use the internal grabs to get the process started but find...

Model 3 review - After moving from RWD to AWD

In my real world testing I have noticed another thing that may illustrate the difference between RWD and the AWD, especially the P3D.
