    Ukiah?

One of the map apps I have indicates the Supercharger in Ukiah, CA is "closed permanently." Anyone know if this is indeed the case?

Clipper Creek charger at a Tru hotel

Staying at a very new Tru (by Hilton) hotel, and every time I try to make use of the (clipper creek) charger, the desk personnel must turn it on and off several times before the Model 3 will begin charging. I wonder if their charger is screwy, or the car needs a few minutes to get ready, or...

    Rock Magnet?

It seems as if our Model 3 gets an inordinate number of rock strikes while driving. We've already got 3 dings in the windshield, and there have been countless hits elsewhere. Anyone else experience this? Is it aerodynamics? Coincidence? Are we just lucky? Weird.

Cops in Fremont, California are about to get a huge upgrade. The Department bought a 2014 Tesla Model S to replace an aging Dodge Charger. The idea is to find a new type of electric vehicle that could survive five years of active duty — while cutting emissions. Tesla Turf The single Model S...

Epidemic of Model 3 small window break-ins

Nope. In other news, I was overly optimistic. Still not fixed. I had to fashion a temporary patch with silicone and corru-plast.

Epidemic of Model 3 small window break-ins

Safelite man said they're going to get OEM, which may imply that there are aftermarket alternatives, but I can't say for sure.

Epidemic of Model 3 small window break-ins

After reading about this "break the rear window to access seat latch" thing, it happened to us yesterday. Two other cars hit in the same parking lot in 5 minutes time. Broad daylight, lots of people around. The "security guard" seemed more concerned with this happening at the end of his shift...

Not Mad For Thumb Drive /iPod Classic Music. Got A Better Way

The limitations of using USB devices to listen to music in the Model 3 seem odd to me, and if they fix it, fine. But In the meantime, I've found a better way. I've already got a PLEX server running, and besides TV and Movies, it'll serve up everything I've got in iTunes. I open the PLEX iOS...

    First Supercharge

I didn't know that. I also didn't notice any "labels" indicating which pair I was using. From reading a few bits of info, I think it's like this: 1. First car in the pair is not affected by second car hooking up, but second car gets a slower charge. 2. The paired chargers are not always next...

    First Supercharge

We're going to take our new Model 3 on a 1400 mile journey soon, and realized we've never used a Supercharger. So we gave it a whirl, just to learn how before the trip. Turns out it was a very simple procedure. People would pull up and ask questions about the process. Anyway, I think we're...

I was about to ask for help with the mobile connector, as we were getting a " charging speed reduced check adapter" message, and the "T" in the blinking green TESLA displayed upon it had turned red. Turns out the adapter was ever-so-slightly pulled out of the mobile connector. Making sure it...

Long Trip - Supercharge to 100%?

As I understand it you shoudn't charge the vehicle to 100% on a daily basis, but it's OK once in awhile, such as when traveling across the country. Is this correct, or should we keep it to 90% while traveling? Had it only 4 days.

Keeping Batteries Cool: True or False?

Hello. New here. Heard that excessive heat inside the vehicle when parked is bad for the batteries, and so one should keep the interior cool via the app. I doubt this is true, but hey, why not ask the experts?
