The most fair and simplistic approach is to make it $5k for all customers who bought their cars before last Thursday. Those who paid for FSD should get their $3k refund.

That’s surprising considering they removed the cap amount. You should call and check. The application processor’s name is Billly and she was very helpful.

I can’t imagine when the possibility of wild pricing swings when the tax credit is completely expired...tesla will do what they have to do to generate interest and demand.

SC was able to diagnose and fixed the squeaky/grinding noise coming from behind the steering wheel. Apparently the VIN plate somehow got in contact with the windshield so they adjusted the VIN plate. Noise is completely gone. Good luck to those who have similar issue.

Same problem on white but only on the driver side. Curious if anyone was able to get it fixed.

Were you able to diagnose the issue? I have similar noise coming from driver side somewhere behind the steering wheel when going over bumps.
