Help! Radio flyer need troubleshooting assistance

I had the same experience today. It did work yesterday but it was completely dead today. :( Battery was full with 5 of 5 LEDs showing green lights. It took me a while to figure it out, but eventually, I was able to identify the "problem". When you unpack the car for the first time, there is a...

Great article from a guy who chose a Jaguar over a Tesla on why Tesla is better :)

Same here. No meat in this article.

    Firmware 6.0 (beta version discussion)

I think you are missing something, too. To use the key fob, you have to steal it. To use the mobile phone app, you simply download it on your own mobile phone. No need to steal and unlock the Tesla owner's phone. However, then you still have to overcome the digital security barrier, which may...

Unused tail light on trunk lid?

Exactly, I can confirm this for my car (European). Actually I'd love to have two reversing lights because that single light is pretty dim and doesn't help much when reversing in a dark driveway. The new Mercedes S has a cool feature in this regard: A bright strip of LED lights down low on the...

Around the same time, TMC will be DoS, merely due to this thread...

Things you may not have discovered about your Model S?!

The alarm never goes off while the car is unlocked. Alarm only engages one minute after the car has been locked (regardless whether it's manual or walk-away door lock).

    European SuperCharger rollout updated

Agreed, except for the specific number. There were 4 Supercharger sites in Germany last quarter, doubling that number means another four in Q1 and then eight more in Q2. That's still way more than we can see until now (which is zero).

    Bjørn's Tesla Model S videos

Regarding 3G interference: It seems to be particularly bad when the cell phone is placed below the 17" screen. By putting it elsewhere -- e.g., in your pants or in the cup holders or even in the center space but next to the arm rests rather than in or under the cubby -- you may be able to...

Elon Musk in Munich: "Free long-distance trave for ALL FUTURE VEHICLES!!!"

No worries. Other car manufacturers will have to buy licenses to let their customers use Tesla's infrastructure. Those licenses won't come cheap and will pay for our electricity, too. :-D (Pure speculation, of course.)

    Germany - Poland - Lithuania - Latvia - Estonia

Estonia seems to be a safe haven, if not heaven, for EVs. The challenge is to make it there... 2000 km give or take. In any event, I could take a ferry straight across the Baltic sea, but I certainly prefer to drive. If only to remember the good ol' days.

    Germany - Poland - Lithuania - Latvia - Estonia

Germany - Poland - Lithuania - Latvia - Estonia, has anyone done this trip with Model S? Any Model S owners willing to share their plugs along that route? I've done the trip a few times but a) it's been a few years ago and b) only with ICE cars.

Glitches on the Tesla App for Android

The Android app is totally obsolete. Don't lose any sleep over it. It's still a beta that has been out for ages and an updated version is over due. I hope for a release of an updated Android app in the aftermath of the 6.0 release (whenever that may be), but that's pure speculation.

Recontenting the speakers in the rear hatch?

First of all, turn off Dolby Surround (on the same panel where you can adjust Tone and Fade/Balance). Dolby Surround is optimized for the best sound experience in the front seats and does not work at all for passengers in the back. You may find that without Dolby Surround, the experience is...

    VisibleTesla

I bet this has been discussed before. Please forgive me, this thread is "longish"... Of course, Tesla's apps and website...

I'm afraid I'm missing the point here. I have ordered winter tires from my preferred tire dealer, and I'll have then mounted on my wheels. What's the problem? Yes, it may be preferable to have two sets of wheels, and it will all be sorted out for the next season. But for this season, only having...

Amazing Core Tesla Battery IP - 18650 Cell

Amazing Core Tesla Battery IP - 18650 Cell

Not sure about the second sentence here... AFAIK there are two chillers in the front of the Model S, one left and one right, with the "blinds" opening and closing independently. It is my understanding that one is responsible for the passenger compartment and the other is responsible for the...

EU P-3 was delivered the same day the same time in another German city. I just did not find the time to post since! ;-) Volker and Volker had a Model S-to-Model S phone call later that day. Sound quality was good, the new-car excitement was even better (and still is, at least for me).

    Firmware 5.6

Makes a lot of sense for people who are on 4.x and will jump to 5.x, which probably is the majority of Model S owners right now.

Reference Cars for Comparing Charging v. Fueling Costs

    Executive Stretch Model S

Well, there is indeed a long version of the S class. Both long and normal versions are available in all markets but the Chinese market strongly prefers the long one.
