Tesla reduced prices on the model Y by $3000 on April 18th, 2023, then they reduced prices on the 7-seat options by $1000 April 27th, 2023. That is $4000 total.

Kinda sucks, just took delivery last week. At least I didn't pay an extra $3000. Crazy to think those that took delivery on April 17th, 2023 for a 7 seater Y paid $4000 more just for taking delivery 11 days earlier.

Picked up my Model Y 7-Seater today. Better build. Still had paint issues but not enough to refuse delivery. They ran out of tire repair kits which should have been included so I'll have to come back and pick it up when it is back in stock.

I basically called the main number and transfered to delivery support. Waited about an hour and got ahold of someone there.

I've found that works better than the texts. You can also call the delivery main service centers. You might have to wait on hold for awhile but usually you can get someone helpful.

You'd be surprised. You can call your delivery advisor or text them directly and they'll try to match an available vehicle for you. They offered to find me a vehicle after my rejection. They will not be able to add items (tow hitch) or even change wheel sizes however.

I really think the March 31st deadline really only affects Model 3 SR; only primarily because these batteries are LFP and sourced from China. We'll find out soon.

Unfortunately, there is very little chance of returning a car anymore unless there is a legitimate lemon law claim. I'm also sharing your frustrations with delays and now that deliveries are done maybe they can focus on repairs.

I don't see that being an item that will take days. They should be able to take care of that either via mobile service or very quickly at the SC.

For the first two pictures, I had the same issue on mine. They would not fix. Said within tesla spec. If you get yours fixed, I'd be interested why tesla standards can vary between SCs and I'd press them again for it.

I had this exact thing they would not replace the glass on mine. Might be the same in a lot of vehicles, most owners may not really notice. Part of my windshield is slightly distorted but you have to really look for it and its on the lower bottom of the windshield.

Ceramic coating on the glass surfaces and quick acceleration fulfills most of the wiping needs on my S. I would think the final wiper design would incorporate some sort of wiper well to store the wiper. Not a tesla thing to keep it so exposed. That or they go with traditional wiper design...
