Supercharger - Marina Del Rey, CA (LIVE 28 Jul 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

The entire state of NJ is this way. You can't pump your own gas.

Supercharger - Marina Del Rey, CA (LIVE 28 Jul 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

Ya'll need to calm down. This is hardly the first valet super charger in LA and others around the country. All of Manhattan are valet only super chargers and have been forever. It's a car not a vital organ in transit for transplant.

    Supercharger - Twinsburg, OH

Ohio in general seems to be antagonistic towards ev infrastructure and vehicles. 200$ a year tax to register an EV in Ohio. I doubt they are helpful to add supercharger at turnpike areas.

Supercharger - Marina Del Rey, CA (LIVE 28 Jul 2022, 8 V3 stalls)

The V3 on the newer Teslas is so fast youd be done before they ever showed up 😂

How do we get this removed from map?

    Supercharger - Twinsburg, OH

You are so correct. I have 128k on 2015 S70. Car was sold with 230 miles range and I currently have 225. I have used suoercharging 80% of my charging and many times up to 100%.

    Tesla Supercharger network

Does anyone know if there is a supercharger map similar the supercharger app or supercharger.info that INCLUDES all possible Tesla DC chargers not just Tesla bullt. I've seen some like EVgo that have tesla connectors included on their DC fast stations.

New UI for pre-refreshed model S? Holiday update

I'm a lone voice here who wishes there were fewer added features and a stripped out software that made the core features actually usable. If they just removed the bloatware that doesn't work like the browser and games and put those resources toward the maps being able to load and voice commands...

Tesla Offers Free Holiday Supercharging in California

You wouldn't even have a Tesla if it weren't for California. Calm down.

Tesla ranks 2nd worst in Consumer reports reliability survey

Why is there a cadre of Tesla owners who talk and act like they are in some kind of cult?? It's a car people. I own one too, lots to be appreciated and LOTS of issues that need addressing too. Accept valid criticism and CR has valuable, helpful criticism.

Tesla ranks 2nd worst in Consumer reports reliability survey

The report is culled from information surveyed from owners.

    Supercharger - Twinsburg, OH

You You guys have way too much time on your hands. If policing people's use of why they are charging and should they be charging is a thing then count me out.

    Supercharger - Twinsburg, OH

LOL what the hell are you taking about? It's for any and all Teslas and soon to be any and all electric car.
  16. jvanyc

    Supercharger - Twinsburg, OH

Yes I see those signs at every supercharger I go to "No local use, travelers only" 😂. Tesla does not want local money paying for the supercharger only out of town money please.

Blog Tesla Crashes into Cop Car After Launch of NHTSA Autopilot Investigation

Anybody that has used Autopilot for any amount of time knows this is entirely possible. There are plenty of situations that the Autopilot is just confused or unable to make a decision about what to do, That's why you keep your hands on the wheel. You people imagining that Auto pilot is somehow...

Blog Tesla Settles Suit Over Model S Battery Voltage Reduction

The lesson here that Tesla still hasn't learned is that communication is a lot cheaper. Had they alerted those affected that they have an issue they are trying to address and fix and temporarily there will be a limited charge level I doubt any of this would have happened. Lying isn't the...

    How to avoid random/phantom braking!

Anytime something weird happens press the voice activation and say "bug report" then explain briefly what just happened. Then make an appointment and tell them you've made bug reports and they can listen and see what happened preceding the voice note in your cars computer.

Blog Former Tesla Exec Guillen Sells $274M in Stock

Anybody with a calculator and brain who was in same position would do same thing. You people are insane if you think this current price will hold. (I own no tesla positions)

Superchargers in Southern California (location speculation)

Slightly off topic but anyone know of an app that is type agnostic? Just DC chargers? I don't care if I'm using tesla or EA or whoever.

    Autopilot Lane Change question

I have AP1 and given how simplistic it is compared to the newer 2.x system it's pretty incredible. When I first got it Nov 2018 it almost useless, software updates have made it really great. Turn signal lane changes work but it often times won't do it, it's nice but I wouldn't call it a deal...

Latest Update Allows Tesla Model S/Model X To Supercharge At Up To 225 kW

My understanding is that it is an "undocumented feature" I'm pretty sure though it only relates to cars pre 2016

Blog Tesla Discounts Basic Autopilot – $2,000 Until July 1

The irony is they desperately need people with the FSD out there beta testing for them. So far it seems like enough people had put up the cash to pay for the privilege of testing for them. I guess they now need more data and are feeling the heat.

NHTSA asks about MCU memory screen failures

Coincidentally I just had mine replaced Tuesday the day this announcement was made. Sure would love to get that $1800 back if it turns out Tesla is on the hook to recall this avoidable issue. The replacement MCU1 unit is a remanufactured one which I guess is 1k cheaper than a new one and has a 4...

Latest Update Allows Tesla Model S/Model X To Supercharge At Up To 225 kW

Not really. I have a 2015 S70 and It's been throttled since last summer I think. Sure I'd love to get the high speeds but I also don't want my battery catching on fire or degrading it so badly as to be worthless. My car has 95k miles and I get a max charge capacity of 228 miles and it was rated...

    MCU 1 Versions? 1098010-00-F vs 1004777-00-E

So they completed it and the invoice says I received a 1098010-99-H version. It's remanufactured version which seems fine. There is definitely much better resolution on the screen and brighter. The refresh times on screen are definitely better but nothing like an MCU2 from what I've seen...

    MCU 1 Versions? 1098010-00-F vs 1004777-00-E

    MCU 1 Versions? 1098010-00-F vs 1004777-00-E

I have a 2015 S70 with 95k miles. My MCU hasn't failed but it's had some wonky behavior and the mobile service guy verified for me while doing a 12v battery replacement that the MCU had run out of memory and was living on borrowed time. I checked at local service center (Cleveland) and they...

    Replacing instrument cluster

I think you are 100% correct. I was thinking the gen was matched with the MCU. I am almost certain I have the Gen 2 Instrument Cluster
  38. jvanyc

    Replacing instrument cluster

Can you elaborate on this a bit more? I have a 2015 with Gen 1 Instrument Cluster that is bubbling. Can I just buy the replacement screen or I have to go the expensive route?

    2020.16.2.1

More like 3k after it's all added up and it's so the car will work. The MCU1 units wear out their memory eventually and become bricks.

Supercharger - Hawthorne, CA - El Segundo Boulevard (LIVE 21 Nov 2019 - 12 Urban)

The region is so overloaded with new cars in the last couple of years they would need to build all the super charging stations planned in the LA area to even make a debt.

Supercharger - Hawthorne, CA - El Segundo Boulevard (LIVE 21 Nov 2019 - 12 Urban)

Supercharger - Pasadena, CA (LIVE 26 Nov 2019, 24 urban stalls)

    Supercharger - Hawthorne, CA - Tesla Design Center (CLOSED TO PUBLIC 19 Jul 2021, 8 V2 + 2 V3 stalls)

    Supercharger - Santa Monica, CA (LIVE 18 Feb 2022, 62 V3 stalls)

I don’t like to be pessimistic but I seriously doubt this will happen and frankly it’s so far outside the scope of what Tesla should be maybe it’s money better spent elsewhere. I’d rather have 5 more SC locations in LA area than a restaurant with Charging stations.
