Off Menu Colors - Complete Gone or just offered unknown to new customers?

I would say it’s very unlikely. However, don’t give up hope. When I ordered mine I spoke with a sales representative directly from the Fremont sales center, who said it wouldn’t be a problem. Granted it was two years ago (and silver was just discontinued two months prior), but that would...

Lowering to $1,700. Also note tires only have about 3,800 miles on them.
  8. R

Model 3 OEM 19” Wheels, Tires, Wheel Center Caps, and TPMS

Dropping to $1800. When buying this set directly from Tesla it costs around $3k (before labor and taxes) so this is a heck of a deal.

I’m finding shipping costs from $450 (USPS), $600 (FedEx), and $800 (UPS). I’m open to other shipping options if you have any.

Set of four 19" wheels, four Continental ProContact RX tires, four wheel center caps, and four TPMS for Model 3. All are factory OEM and all are in great condition with no curb rash on the wheels. Plenty of tire left with each at about 8/32". $1900. Located in SoCal area. Willing to ship at...

20" OEM Sport Wheels vs. Zero-G Wheels

It makes sense from a physics perspective why a larger wheel would lead to worse braking and worse acceleration, but that goes against reports like this that state the opposite: Stopping Distance and Grip With 18- and 19-inch Tires - 2017 Tesla Model 3 Long-Term Road Test Also why would Tesla...
  12. R

20" OEM Sport Wheels vs. Zero-G Wheels

If the Zero-G wheels are forged, will that help in preventing tire damage? Since forged wheels are generally stronger, does that have any positive effect on the tires too?

WTB: Model 3 Referral Zero-G Wheels

Looking to buy a set of the Model 3 Zero-G wheels with 40mm offset. Also interested in the tires and everything else that came with the set, if available. Located in SoCal and willing to drive a bit as needed.
  14. R

20" OEM Sport Wheels vs. Zero-G Wheels

Aside from the appearance, are there any benefits choosing the zero-g wheels over the standard 20" sport wheels? If the zero-g wheels are truly "forged" would that mean they are less prone to bending? I've read a lot about 20" performance wheels having issues with potholes, and whether or not...

    Model 3 Black Interior

I looked into it but in the end I decided to stick with OEM to keep it as authentic as possible.
  16. R

    Model 3 Black Interior

Definitely more than I'd like. Tesla is charging me an arm and a leg so I’m hoping to offset the cost with this sale.
  17. R

    Model 3 Black Interior

Also for reference, my Model 3 was manufactured in December 2018, so the set for sale includes the newer, more comfortable seats.
  18. R

    Model 3 Black Interior

So I’m planning on getting the interior of my Model 3 switched to white at the service center. This will leave me to sell the black interior, including the front seats, back seats (including back armrest), door panels, and wood dash. My car only has about 6,500 miles on it so the quality of all...

    Brake Pedal vs. Accelerator Pedal

Has anyone else noticed the brake pedal is positioned closer to your feet than the accelerator pedal? Meaning you have to extend your foot further down to reach the accelerator pedal. This is even when the car is in drive.

Silver 3 finally is silver in the app!

    I noticed this too. Rejoice!

    Wireless Phone Charger by Tesla

I’ve been plugging my USB for TeslaCam into one end of the splitter. I’ve used this one: https://smile.amazon.com/Onvian-Splitter-Adapter-Charging-Syncing/dp/B01KX4TKH6

    Wireless Phone Charger by Tesla

It’s the same black as the stock pad.

    Wireless Phone Charger by Tesla

For me it would be piping hot, even when there wasn’t a phone on it for it to charge. I’ve never experienced this with any of the other wireless charging pads I’ve used.
  24. R

    2019.20.4.2

Yes, it’s under your driver profile settings. Look for a checkbox that says something like “use Easy Entry” and uncheck it.

    Wireless Phone Charger by Tesla

I can’t say for sure because I no longer have the Nomad but the Tesla charger may have more room. This is because the Nomad charger has a built-in lip while the Tesla charger does not. The Tesla charger uses a separate piece so there may be more room vertically. I’d say if your phone fits the...

    Wireless Phone Charger by Tesla

After using the charger for a day it seems to be working as intended. I charged on each side of the pad and my phone didn’t move while driving. I also previously used the Nomad and Jeda (ver. 2) so I figured I’d give a quick comparison. Comparing it to the Nomad charger is a pretty even match...

    Wireless Phone Charger by Tesla

Just got it delivered today. I’ve included some pictures of the box, the charger, and the setup in my car. I’ll start testing it out tomorrow. So far I have it with a splitter on the right side and my phone (iPhone X) seems to be charging fine on either side. It comes with a bottom piece (it...

    2019.20.4.1 - Beach Buggy Racing

The problem is there never was an issue with it in the first place, so they messed with something that didn’t need fixing. This is just more time they could have been spent working on something else. And frankly, if the new way is not intuitive for most people, then it’s not very effective.

    2019.20.4.1 - Beach Buggy Racing

There are a ton of people complaining about this on the Tesla forums and on Reddit. Here is a link for reference: 2019.20.2.1 has screen brightness bug-too dark in night mode on auto | Tesla I’m also curious to hear if it has improved with 2019.20.4.1.

OEM 18” Wheels with Michelin Primacy MXM4 Tires and Aero Covers for Model 3

Set of four wheels, four tires, and four aero covers for Model 3. All in great condition with just over 2700 miles on them. The aero caps were removed at delivery and were wrapped and stored. Decided to switch to 19” at the service center. See attached for odometer photos before and after they...

    Mid Range Rated Range

I charged my Mid Range to 100% last night and I’m getting 247 miles. I’m on 2019.12.1.2 and my car has less than 2,700 miles on it. What gives?

Anyone received the new Jeda wireless phone charging pad for Tesla

Something else I noticed: the left side is getting really warm - even with no phone on it. Is this happening with anyone else’s new Jeda?
  40. R

Anyone received the new Jeda wireless phone charging pad for Tesla

Mine doesn’t move when driving but you can easily rock it back and forth by pressing any of the corners - it’s not flush. Here are pictures showing the gap on the sides. I also took a picture of it from the front to show it’s installed as directed.

    SD Card for Dash Cam

Presumably with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-MobileMate-microSD-Card-Reader/dp/B07G5JV2B5/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
  42. R

    SD Card for Dash Cam

As far as SD card, from what I read you’re capped out at 32GB to keep it as a Tesla-friendly FAT32 drive. Otherwise, it won’t work - you’ll need third party software that formats bigger drives to FAT32. This seems to apply for PCs and possibly Macs (can someone confirm?) The trade-off is SD...

    SD Card for Dash Cam

For those who use an SD card instead of USB, does it automatically overwrite itself when full, or do you still have to reformat it every time it gets full?
  44. R

Anyone received the new Jeda wireless phone charging pad for Tesla

Anyone else with the new Jeda have issues with it sitting flush? Mine lines up with the holes and locks into place but you can still press the corners and it rocks back and forth. There is also a noticeable gap on the sides.
  45. R

    Firmware 2019.12.1.2

In my experience the car will not open with my phone in my back pocket - only with it in the front pocket. It’s definitely annoying and I wish there was a setting to choose the proximity for detecting when to unlock the car.

    18” vs. 19” Wheels

From what I understand the 20’s have a bit of a bent rim problem so I’m looking at 18’s vs. 19’s.
  47. R

    18” vs. 19” Wheels

I appreciate the input, but to keep the thread on topic, I was referring to OEM wheels. Just wanted to hear personal experiences driving with each. Edmunds did say the 19’s were more comfortable, which contradicts some other people’s statements. Also it seems 19’s are more susceptible to...

    18” vs. 19” Wheels

For anyone who’s been able to test each one, how does the ride comfort compare? Which has the bumpier ride? I’ve read one is a smoother ride than the other, then read the opposite elsewhere. Curious to hear your firsthand accounts.
