Rule of thumb for when to get financing quotes

I ordered on Jan 24, expecting an 8 week wait, and got a VIN on Jan 31, now scrambling to complete loan and insurance stuff ASAP.

    2020 Model 3 and differences from 2019

Anyone had luck yet on 2020 all weather mats? Was looking at these and they make a point to state that 2020 has a fit change, resulting in a gap in the rear mats. I wonder is maxpider ones still fit 2020?

    2020 Model 3 and differences from 2019

Wait wait wait - i just ordered a new LR AWD (to replace my 2018 LR RWD due to a car accident). Are y'all saying that I no longer get free music streaming, and no homelink to open my garage door???

Hydroplane and lifting off the accelerator

The first hit was at ~45 degree angle on the rear left bumper edge, second was head-on but it had lost some momentum by then. No airbags deployed. The car protected me very well, there's no question in my mind that it was the best possible outcome. But I can't help but think it may not have...

Hydroplane and lifting off the accelerator

Model 3 (2018 long-range, RWD) is probably totaled, waiting to hear back from insurance. On one hand, I only got neck pain and a concussion, and...

42.2 update - regen change sucks

My experience is like yours. The toggle suggestion did not actually seem to help long term. The car often coasts, and the regen is noticeably weaker than previous to the 42.2 update. I got 42.2.1 last night, didn't help. I tried calling support a couple of times but was unable to wait the 40...

42.2 update - regen change sucks

Can confirm on the toggling! I had a terrible experience with the weaker regen today, and toggled the standard/low switch once to no effect. But after seeing this thread, I drove around the neighborhood and toggled a few more times and, lo and behold, the good strong regen is back, hooray

Tesla making Model 3 regen braking stronger via OTA update

I got the update last night and today my regen seemed WEAKER. It seems to coast more and at lights doesn't come to a full stop. I've adapted my driving to barely use my brake but was using it all over the place today. :( I have the AWD version
