My install will be in Nassau county at the same detailing shop where they did my other car years ago. I am getting a $4k system with the dual woofers, replaced amp, replaced midrange, tweeters and a few other items.

For the doubters, Reus has just confirmed my NY install for next week exactly as agreed. Apparently there are at least 8 other Ny/Boston installs. I'll post my experience with the system once it is done.

Not much for me to say other than this has not been my experience. My boxster system was installed in NY when they said as they agreed. They have been totally transparent about timing and process for the MS. Their sound systems truly are musical with great sound stage.

My read of the map had it further west near the ny border. If it is at the 90/91 interchange that would be okay.

Sandisk worked intermittently for me. I think the problem was its length meant that it would jostle in the plug.

One option to consider is the free j1772 right off of the LIE at the leviton headquarters in Melville. Nice setup and a Marriott is right next door so if you need a charge you can plug in and get some food and drink.

Today was my first charge using a Nema 6-50. Had 80 miles left and started the charge. Within a few minutes I was getting 31mph charge with amperage holding at 40 and 237-240V.
