Looks like the rear windshield weather stripe is updated to fix the "water running into trunk" issue.
Check 5:33
I also found two PN for the weather stripe. Does anyone know if that can be easily replaced?
I wish I read this post earlier. I was not aware that there's a connector in the passenger side and pull the center console backward after removing all the bolts and disconnect the OBD-II connector. That killed the connecter locking mechanism and the USB port itself is slightly bent. Glad that...
When I ordered the parts for the USB-C retrofit, I scheduled an appointment specifying what are the parts I want. They delivered the parts with mobile service. I never visited the SC. YMMV though.
Going over the parts catalog, looks like the trunk lid itself is different for the manual vs powered trunk. Not sure what that actual physical difference will be.
I believe the laminated glass can be ordered and this is the part number.
If you really want to do the OEM black trim retrofit...
Just got all the parts today and installed it. The whole process took around 30mins. Pretty easy and I am very satisfied with the result. One drawback is that the phone tray cannot be held in the "up" position and it keeps falling down. Looks like the wireless charger is too heavy. Is anyone...
Can you have some sort of tutorial on how to do it when you received the parts? I tried to do some research and seems like removing the center console is pretty involved.
I have similar issue that Bluetooth phone call does not work. Music and voic recognization works fine. Worked with service center and they just ask me to wait for FW fix. It’s been 3 months
Mine is LR RWD. When I bought it last November, it yields 252mi at 80%. After Elon announced range boost to 325mi for LR RWD, I got 264mi at 80%. However, after several software updates, it goes back to 252mi at 80% starting from 24.4
When I brought in my Lexus for service, I can already see my name on the welcome screen once I pulled up to the drive way. I don't even have front license plate installed. Have no idea how they know that's me. Well, I guess that's how the service center of Luxury manufacturer should be.
The simple answer is YES! I took deliver in November. My car cost $61k at that time and the exact same car will only cost $55k now. The price dropped $6k in 3 months. Tax incentive only dropped $3.75k. Therefore, everyone purchased the car in 2018 are screwed.
I think the bare minimum is to refund $1k since people with EAP will be able to purchase FSD for $2k, which is $1k cheaper than those who purchased pre-delivery. Screw that’s early access program!
I totally feel you. My same car depreciated ~10% in 3 months. I took deliver mid Nov 2018 and paid 61k. The exact same car only cost 55k now. Even factoring in tax incentive and everything, I will still save ~$2k if I order it now. I would have definitely waited if I know that's gonna happen.
MR: 5.6 --> 5.2
LR RWD: 5.1 --> 5.0
LR AWD: 4.5 --> 4.5 (unchanged)
Performance: 3.3 --> 3.2
Probably only MR will feel the difference and contribute the most to AVERAGE 5% increase across all Model 3.
The RPM set has five stripes on the gas pedal. Definitely different from OEM. Lately they upgrade their set to have a glossy aluminum finish which I am not a fan of those
I would like to see if anyone has any luck on getting the Model 3 OEM performance pedal replica. I searched online and I can either find something like this:
or this:
These definitely are different from the OEM which looks like this:
If anyone knows where to get the exact replica of...
