Anyone with the latest deliveries confirm if they are getting a 24' vin or 23'? I think the cut off is around the first week of October as it was with my Model Y performance last year, and the year before that with my Model 3 performance.

I think they are prioritizing MXP orders ( for obvious reasons ) over the base X - so I would expect my X order which I placed on 9/20 to be available near the end of the year most likely.

My 23MYP I picked up a few weeks ago is very very good compared to my brothers early 20MYP. Better road noise decrease, much softer even with performance compared to LR! among other things.

May have to pay for the software tool + manual to check the codes yourself and see what the recommendations are.

Just picked up my performance model Y, ordered 10/5 , DD: 11/2. White interior, tow package. Car came with USS but upgraded cameras and no parcel shelf. South Florida.

Tesla has a unique way of sending out updates to their cars unfortunately though, nobody knows why some new cars get older versions, or some get newer, etc. Your best bet is to just keep it on the advanced button selected and keep pressing check update.

As gimmicky as it may sound but I kinda would like to have that audi style noise when accelerating. It sounds very cool!

Are the new cameras obvious ? Larger housing ? Sensor?

I really want CarPlay.. not so much for the navi sort of things - but more for the music integration as teslas software is real *sugar*. That is coming from me as a Senior SW engineer its pathetic the implementation methods they use. ;(

I ordered mine on OCT 5th and I have a delivery date for NOV 2nd at 8AM. I live in South Florida and it is a 2023 MYP based on the VIN.

I would give it some time as i know they are in the proccess of changing out their core OS which could be the explanation.

I agree with you on this as i am an SW engineer and work for a big company. Any changes that are made, needs to be defined in the requirements and validated. It can break a lot of things, and it takes time to develop, design and validate. People who think its easy, as you said don't have a clue...

Anyone else see this issue where once AP is engaged the car goes from left to right intermittently while driving? It is rather annoying and i have started to see this on my S and now on my brand new Model 3 with HW3 delivery only a week old. So i know its not the car. I believe AP is really poor...

I swear the validation department is lack luster at Tesla. How in the world do they test this? On one MCU configurations? what about live demos? etc? As an engineer in SW especially in the Software Quality - this is some of the worst bugs ive seen. They need some serious and good engineers.

I get also if someone has no pan on getting FSD, not sure what the fuss is about as 2.5 is very capable of nearly everything that HW3 can do. Obviously HW3 can render frames per second more and for visualation / proccessing purposes its the way to go but - i think its honestly not a big deal.

Yeah man that is terrible it looks like as others said it was either bumped or crashed into maybe from demo, etc and they resprayed it without blending it in. That is just awful. Definitely bring that in man and return it.

very odd that the install went on without user aproval.. this is not new, ive heard others with much older versions ( such as v8 goingt to v9 ) as people were trying to hold off from switching over. I believe Tesla has the ability to update a car if it feels the SW running it is not up to any good.

same here as my pick up is on 12/14 with a VIN in the source. Probably will come up within a few days of delivery. I am just waiting on the MVPA documents so i know how much i need to pay if anything up front as i have a net trade in credit coming my way.
