did you ever have problems with your backup camera blanking out? or just the green lines?

I also have green scan lines occasionally in my camera. Anyone seen this?

note to OP, did you update to latest firmware? I went in for an apt today and they confirmed that that issue was resolved by firmware and I can say that I've done 2 updates since I had that issue and I haven't had backup camera fail since then.

Dropped off the car today to fix a couple of things. They reiterated that screen discolor is a SCREEN firmware issue. I kept saying but why does the yellow stay on after the screen powers off. He was polite but adamant that it was known and the firmware in a few months (summer) will resolve it...

Sorry let me clarify. The system power CYCLED. the screen was powered off. As I said in the post I'm going to ask them to unplug (depower) the mcu and show me there is no yellow outlines. If the unpowered unit has lines then its a physical issue as ck_Stuggi suggested

Yeah got my refund on my cc (RELIEF). I pinged the delivery center and asked them when I'll get the check. It took them 4 days to reply and during that time I got my check, and deposited it. Then they reply back telling me its still in process. LOL
