    Blog EPA Gives Range Rating for Model S Long Range

    Just using the EPA numbers, it appears the battery is a tad bigger, capacity wise: 405 miles * .28 kWh per Mile = 113.4 kWh battery capacity. The battery performance improvements could mean fewer cells and less weight, though.

    Do you remember the quote "The reason creating foolproof devices is so difficult is because fools are so clever."? Perhaps we should add a Darwin award category for reviewers... Nearly all devices can be used to limit human lifespans, but that's not usually what they were intended to do...

    Is the current NoA helpful or harmful?

    NoA is a tool and a work in progress. Most new tools are feared, and their designers shunned (or worse). AP and NoA are better than they were, and continuing to get better. Use them wisely and carefully, and enjoy the rewards. Abdicate your responsibilities for using them to the tools...

    Envy

    Same here. Could be an "age" thing, I guess... <grin> The first few times under AP, I wanted to control the steering wheel. Trust is gained slowly. Still nervous about letting AP move me from lane to lane whether are barriers on both the outer and inner lanes, but I'll get there.
