How did your friend get Tesla to look at his data and escalate it internally? I've contacted Customer support and all I got back was sorry, glad everyone is OK, reach out to your local service center for repairs... I want them to look at the data and hopefully find out if there is a software...

To clarify, I don't hover over the brake, I just try to keep my foot relatively close to the brake in case I need to brake rapidly.

Not normally, I try to keep it closer to the brake instead of the accelerator, I figure that's safer.

This is what I was thinking considering she drove towards the right of the lane in the turn.

Since I dozed off and there isn't an internal cam, I can't be 100% sure it was still on, but I know that it was on before I dozed off.

I should add, no injuries on either part, just my pride and soon to be my wallet...

Just to clarify in advance, this accident is completely my fault as I dozed off behind the wheel after a long day at work and very little sleep the night before, and it's my responsibility to maintain control of the car at all times, but I am concerned that the car didn't stop in this situation...

Final result: I ended up going to Tesla for the repair. The wheel was only $200. In and out in 30 minutes! Thanks for all of your suggestions, I was really surprised at how cheap the stock rim was. I'm used to Audi and BMW rims costing at a minimum $500.

I talked to a friend and he said to call roadside assistance and they'll give me a temp wheel until I can get to my appointment.
