Can anyone confirm parts needed for amp install as of April 2023?

ok. i thought performance was the best deal, so would recommend that route, vs getting a RWD and then spending 4-7k more than a comparable LR/P would to get similar audio system performance.

Can anyone confirm parts needed for amp install as of April 2023?

Just FYI to everyone reading this: huge difference in requirements between 'full'/'premium' sound systems and the lower tiers. if you care about music quality and aren't going to do everything on your own, just go with a LR (or whichever cheapest model has premium audio)

Can anyone confirm parts needed for amp install as of April 2023?

I used the install thread from the 'other' site, with a 3500w RMS amp (Big Ben) / large sub (Fi audio) and it worked great for 4+ years in a 2018 M3P (rearview mirror did break, though). I used the resistor / wiring instructions from the other site. I also have extra resistors. Where are you...

    Ohmmu 12V Battery Feedback

Meanwhile, I was having some persistent 12v errors. Tesla Mobile Service swapped my v3 Ohmmu for a new Tesla 12v at my cost on August 8. By mid-September, the 'normal' 12v errors have been occurring with the replacement Tesla 12V battery. I have a v4 Ohmmu on the way; we'll see what happens...

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

I've experienced the opposite/conflicting behavior. (1) People are getting conflicting results, or (2) we don't know all the variables involved, or (3) cars are behaving differently.

Autocross- SCCA EV-X Class vs. SS

I'm with the group that says choosing wheel options in the UI doesn't change any settings. To me, it sounds like you were experiencing the normal stability control intrusion that is still present even in track mode with -10 stability control.

    Model 3 front suspension clunking

That sounds like the rear axle clicking as the axles move in and out of the drive unit.... This was fixed on mine by removing axles from the drive unit and greasing where the axle splines go into the drive unit.

Dallas Peeps - Recommendation for Body Repair?

    Best Tint in DFW area?

I keep my cars for a while and hate when tint starts bubbling up/turning purple, so for the last 10-15 years, I've been getting my tint done at TriTek in Garland and have been very satisfied. It was less than a grand (7-800?) for windshield, 10% sides and 10% 1-piece back when I had the model 3...

    Rear Ended After Installing Mods

2 months seems like a while, but I haven't had to have anything repaired within the past 2 years (i.e., during the supply chain disruption times). 1 month used to be reasonable, so doesn't seem too far out of line to me.

Cool, hopefully you can make it next time! During the meet, they helped me figure out that my amp was going into protect mode, so I haven't had use of my amp/sub for the past 6+ months. Accelerator relay clicking?

rear axle nut click. hopefully yours stays tightened, but mine came back within a few days. final fix was to lube the inner splines (the splines that go into the drive unit). I don't think Tesla lubes that part, but their procedures may have changed.
