Agree. No need to grey out the battery icon. And the model car appears to be floating out there. It will take some time to get used to this big change.

Is it possible for Tesla to add state rest areas as a layer to the navigation map? As we travel around the state it would be great to know where the next rest area is located.

Yes, the proximity sensor is on so it appears as though the 2018 Model 3 has no rear collision warning. Pretty basic feature that a "luxury" sedan should have. Very disappointing.

Sounds like a good suggestion. Where do I find the setting for the proximity volume? Also, I was backing up at maybe 2-mph. Perhaps the car does not beep at me if I'm going slowly? Thanks for the ideas.

Thanks. It seems the clunking sound I hear comes from the rear brakes mostly. Sometimes though it seems all four brakes make the noise. Almost like they are unlocking and the sound is very noticeable. Not just when I've been driving in wet weather either. Mostly I hear the noise at start up...

The trouble is I slowed down, waited and he did nothing. So I went and so did he! My main concern is there was no audible chime or beeping when the thing got close to the car. Am I wrong to assume this since the settings appear to be correct.

You will have to do the soft re-boot with the two steering wheel buttons until Tesla sends a new screen that will ask if you want to accept or decline the trial EAP. I know. Its very annoying to have to re-boot. I had to for four days and then magically the new alert showed up.

FYI, this morning a new alert screen appeared on my M3. It asked me if I wanted to accept or decline the EAP. I accepted. I am not sure if its because for the last four mornings I have done a re-boot or what but the screen has gone away without re-boot today. I hope it does not come up...

This is encouraging news. This morning I had to do a reboot to get rid of the stupid screen. I'm hopeful that this will be resolved soon.

Last week Tesla pushed an Autopilot trial to my M3 (long range, dual motor). That was odd since I do not have AP but I figured they wanted me to try it. Every morning since, this pop-up in on my screen and will not go away. I have to re-boot each morning which I do not want to do anymore...

New M3 owner here. I have found that sometimes the steering wheel locks when I park and exit the vehicle - other times it remains loose and turns. I would like it to lock each time I get out of the car. Is there a setting I have missed to default to this? TESLEV1
