Dec 2018 build date. Just charged to 100% for a road trip and got to 257 miles. Daily driving protocol is charging to 70% every evening (after midnight to take advantage of cheap utility electricity rates) and generally use down to 40% ... and repeat... and enjoy the car.

Haha I have been happy to see the same part No. on my LEMR and performance edition cars. My LEMR feels quick and faster than the published 0-60. I was thinking, I hope Tesla doesn’t dumb down my LEMR if they do end up giving MR cars different parts in the future..... who knows?!

Hi All! Picking up my model 3 soon and was wondering how the car does on a steep driveways. Entering a steep incline and leaving a steep incline. The driveway at my house is about a 15% incline up coming off the street.

There is a discussion about which rear drive unit Tesla is using in the mid-range model 3. Any new owners care to check out their MR Model 3 to confirm the rear drive unit part number? Model 3 Motors on the Tesla Parts Catalog Are all rear motors the same?

Are there any mid range owners that can read off the part number on the rear motor to confirm which unit is being used?

Any potential longevity issues with the IGBT version in the MR car? I am getting the MR version.

I’m taking delivery of a mid-range Model 3 tomorrow and I was wondering if all the rear motors across the different models (LR, LR AWD, performance) are the same? Some informantion when the mid range was announced guessed that the mid range might get a different cheaper rear motor to save costs.

Has it been confirmed that the mid-range version also uses this same motor?

Have my appointment for the 29th. Called and confirmed car is on a truck heading my way!
