ITS WORKING!! Finally!! I’ve waited a long time to say there’s a Supercharger in Redding! My friend charged this morning and took these. Chargers are lit up and working.

They already have one at the Gigafactory. It's not open to the public though so it's not documented anywhere.

That would be nice - charge and get pizza. 😂

I've noticed around here that V3 are more expensive than V2, which are more than urban (72kw) chargers. If they mix V2 and V3, are they all the same price? Anyone who doesn't have free supercharging able to look?

Well Redding was issued a permit last week for a supercharger at the new shopping center at Churn Creek road and South Bonnyview Road. This is even more reason for Susanville to get a supercharger. Fingers crossed it happens soon!

This really should be updated to include HWY 44 to Susanville and Reno and 299 to Eurkea, CA to the west, and up to Burney and Alturas to the east. These are major numbered roads that go right through Redding. This is great news for many of us traveling through northern California!!

I just looked at Supercharge.info and the address is wrong. This is accessed from Broadway Street. The Spanish Ravine Rd address may take someone into the neighborhood behind it. It’s directly behind McDonalds but over the canal bridge. It’s easier to access from the Rite Aid parking lot.

There are also Chargepoint AC and fast chargers across the lot in the same area.

This is as of right now. AT&T guy was there but he purposely didn’t make eye contact with me. Looks like they installed some equipment since yesterday. Any way to tell if this is V3? There is an Electrify America charger across the isle against Raley’s wall.

Thanks PLUS! I am driving a 2015 Model S 70D. I can leave the Reno supercharger at the Atlantis full I guess. I would need to make it to the destination charger at the Best Western Hilltop Inn in Redding.

So it sounds like the best thing to do is go through Susanville and spend a few hours at the destination charger. Makes as much sense as driving an extra 2 hours around the long way I guess. Thanks for the help everyone!

Thanks for the help guys. Fingers Crossed! Yuba City or Chico will definitely help by allowing the Red Bluff down 99 to Chico, down to 20 up to Truckee and into Reno route, but that takes about an hour longer than 44 from Redding and 2 hours longer than Mt Shasta to 44 to 395 to Reno.

I am surprised to see there is no thread for the upcoming Susanville Supercharger. This stop is vital for getting from Reno to Redding or Mt. Shasta, and therefore any point north on I-5 in Oregon or Washington. Anyone in Susanville who can look up permits etc... Tesla lists it as opening in...

Any Update on this forum? Planning to visit Redding and it would be nice to have a Supercharger local so we can go explore Whiskeytown and Shasta Dam areas without worrying about getting back to Corning.
