Expired Tesla FSD Package - Transfer to NEW Tesla delivered by 3/31/24 [Deleted]

I have not seen anyone else report needing to submit registration docs, just the transfer form. You may have had a one-off case. In some rare event that happens to the buyer of this FSD, then obviously they won’t pay for something they don’t receive. Worst case they’re out a little time trying...

They do not verify the vehicle registration in the transfer process

Expired Tesla FSD Package - Transfer to NEW Tesla delivered by 3/31/24 [Deleted]

I would transfer my car to your account, so no trip required. It should work on an inventory car no problem as long as it is new and you have not taken delivery yet.

    Sep '14 Red Model S 85 - CPO Warranty - 58k

If I am not mistaken the frame and bodies on the Model S is all aluminum so rust is not an issue, with that being said there are no signs of corrosion that I have noticed. Exterior and interior are in great shape, There is a small pin sized ding in the right driver side door that I took a...

    Sep '14 Red Model S 85 - CPO Warranty - 58k

Also I just realized this title may be a little misleading - 58k Miles. Starting price is $29,500 or buy it now if $38,500.

    Sep '14 Red Model S 85 - CPO Warranty - 58k

I love driving it so I wouldn’t mind, just drove my new(to me) one a little over 1000 miles from MA to WI, was very enjoyable.

    Yep then you’re all good

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

I installed a used one off a totaled car and the mobile ranger was able to program it perfectly fine. When removing thengen 1 I would definitely tape up the connector, maybe even add some liquid electrical tape if you’re not able to get the connector cap.

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

ECU through Tesla is $25 :(

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

Gen1 is definitely under the car. Looks like you don’t have the gen2 harness. I’m assuming they only put this in for a short time before they started putting in actual gen2’s in in oct ‘14?
  22. D

    New Gen 1/2 TPMS Sensors - $125

Bump. Sensors still available and can be programmed to Gen 1 or Gen 2.

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

I didn’t have to press down on the tab or need any sort of tools to release the bolster, you need to sit down and give it some good hard yanks with two hands, not a constant hard pull.
  24. D

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

I think you can reinstall without removing that? But I don’t recall exactly. Did you have the harness?
  25. D

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

When you take the seat bolster out you will easily see if you have the harness or not. If you don’t have the harness, then Tesla is your best bet if you don’t want to install it yourself. If you have the harness I think it’s a no brained to install yourself. If I did it all over again it would...

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

I would highly suggest purchasing the service manual. I got mine for $6 on eBay. Tells you how to do everything. Just remember it’s on the passenger side.
  27. D

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

Yes, that is the part. I paid about $115 locally to have them installed on 4 tires so I’d say that’s a good deal.
  28. D

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

Only extra part you’ll need is that cap connector for the gen 1 receiver if you decide to remove it, but honestly it’s more hassle than it’s worth, I’m just leaving the gen 1 receiver in. Only downside is it doesn’t give a constant reading of your tire pressure, it’ll say “50” then “—“ then back...

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

Any tire shop will do. It is located behind the rear passenger side seat bolster. You can get a service manual on eBay for like $6 that walks you through it. Remember you do have to get your config file in your car changed to gen 2.
  30. D

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

    Nope, there’s just one receiver.
  31. D

TPMS retrofit for older Model S

For those looking to do the TPMS upgrade yourself. I was able to purchase the upgraded continental receiver on eBay for $65 off a salvage vehicle. (Its $25 at Tesla if you can get them to sell you one). It took about 15 minutes to install as my car had the harness for the receiver behind the...
