Since the day I ordered my model 3 I have "Prepare for delivery". Currently I can see my delivery appointment scheduled but no VIN yet. I am not sure if the "We are drafting up your contract and will contact you when you can make your final payment." stage is before or after my stage.

If you don't mind, what worries you about the at-home delivery? I have asked for it, but I have not read much about the home delivery experience in Canada.

I have never seen the edit button. I ordered on March 4th (3 weeks ago) with estimated 2 weeks delivery. Delivery advisor contacted me a week ago with message that "your Model 3 is finished with production and on its way to our service center for delivery." My Tesla web account has not changed...

My sales tax shows more than 15% :). I just got an answer from delivery advisor and they can deliver to Ottawa (no additional fee). That's good news.

Thank you GarthG. It really looks like they are charging nearly 15% instead of 13%. I have contacted my delivery advisor (regarding the tax and delivery) and she told me that they might be able to deliver it directly to my home address :) So I will let you know once I have more info - not sure...

Oil industry will always push the hydrogen cars, as they want the business model to stay. Having one BEV for last 3 years, I haven't needed to charge outside of my house - ever. I charged outside at the early stage of ownership, when I was more cautious about the range or I was at Ikea anyway...

I feel that these are only excuses on KSI side. There is one KSI charger limited to 30kW in the area where my company is. There is nearly no limit from hydro side. There are many offices in the area - Mitel, Alcatel, Qnx, Apple (not advertised :) ). I understand that there might be an issue...

As a tax payer I do not care about the KSI's excuses. They got $10mil (half of the whole $20mil high speed chargers budget went to them) to provide chargers and the requirement was at least 50kW. Government should ask the money back for all the chargers that do not provide specified output...

It is either expensive PR or lack of knowledge (AKA incompetence) or both - very common in current politics or business. It is public money wasted on something that can show one group - "we supported you this year by spending $100,000 on your chargers" and show the other group " you were right...
