    I don’t even think it is good for the track. Note that Randy Probst used a round wheel in his pikes peak run in the S Plaid.

    The problem is the testing at laguna seca was probably a plaid plus and the pikes peak car probably did have a modified cooling system. My M3P can make zero to sixty runs all day with no overheating but only 2 or 3 laps at Barber before drastically overheating and losing power. You THINK the...

    Clearly they are very fast! Has anyone taken one on a road course? What course and how many laps did you get before overheating? I get very few in the M3P so am keenly interested in the cooling capabilities of the plaid.

    That would be awesome! If UP or Randy are saying that on social media please point me to that. I don’t follow all social media and could very have missed it. But, all I see are folks inferring cooling results from the SOC results. They are different.

    My previous cars were Audi S4, 2012 BOSS 302 mustang and 2017 GT350 mustang. I tracked both mustangs. My best time in the M3P is slightly better than the BOSS but about 3 seconds slower than the GT 350. M3P destroys all those others at the drag strip. Best times — 1/8 = 7.29, 1/4 = 11.41...

    I like your ducts, too. Here, though, is an interesting product from vorschlag for mustangs. Seems simpler than ducts and they say it is more effective. Might be worth trying something like this for the model 3. Vorshlag S550 Brake Cooling Deflector Kit

    MasterC17. Thanks for the great write up! Are you using stock P3D+ calipers? Per Mike Jr. at Carbotech, they don’t have pads for those yet.
