Thanks I'll give it a shot. That white fabric is just incredibly stubborn. Not sure why Tesla just didn't extend the "leather" all the way down.

Have there been any actual tests published on track mode in the MYP? I've searched high and low and haven't found any from reputable sites. Would love to see a side by side comparison on lap time improvments or maybe even 0-60 (which is likely negligible, but still would be interesting to see).

It's almost a guarantee that Tesla will raise prices to at least partially, if not fully offset the tax credit. I thought that was pretty much a foregone conclusion at this point.

I have two little ones, so the larger footprint of the Y is certainly a plus. I think a lot of my concerns would/could be remedied by enabling track mode on the MYP, but for some unknown reason they haven't done it yet.

Same issue here! It is literally impossible to get those fabric sections clean. I've gone as far as using my steamer on them and they still aren't perfect. No idea why they chose fabric for those sections, let alone white fabric.

So do we need to order entirely new door panels? Or are they modular and we can swap out the top portion for a new one with the wraparound trim?

I think we can all agree that resale value has long be touted as a strength of the MY and M3. The real question is whether there will be a rebound or if we are seeing a permanent lowering of the floor.

Something has to give here if used prices don't rebound soon. Paying 75ish for an MYP today and having it take a 15-20k hit off the lot just isn't sustainable for the target market. That might work for a BMW M3 (which oddly enough have insane resale right now), but not for a Model 3/Y.

My offers from August on Carvana/Vroom/Carmax were about 20% more than they are now. It's nutty

I have this same exact question. We have two model Ys but only a single car garage, so I'd love to get some extra protection in the winter for the odd man out.

Keep in mind that values are way, way down on these sites from just last month. 20-30% in some cases.

Wow that is a precipitous drop from just a few weeks ago. I put my MYP with ~1k miles into Carvana and Vroom at the beginning of August and they were in the 70-72k range. Crazy

My guess is that they could easily add another 50hp if they wanted, maybe more. The jump from say, 300-400 is a lot more jarring on a car than 500-600. The tolerance for those parts is already very high I'm assuming.

I don't have it, but I was there and saw it first hand. Don't really care who believes it tbh, but charge was a tick over 70%, so that would align nicely with the 623 from above.

One of our local shops dyno'd an MYP straight from the showroom at 603 hp. This was back in June iirc.

I've taken mine to the track several times. And while your statements are probably correct, then why put track mode on any car then? Furthermore, why tell MYP owners that track mode is coming? To boil it down - if there wasn't already a precedent AND if they hadn't already promised it...

I love my MYP, but it's clear that the EV6 GT is at least on paper, the most compelling competitor that we've seen yet. Way too many Tesla truthers in here that are afraid to admit that another car is just as good or (gasp) better. Should be interesting to see what Tesla's response is.
