Was meant to be picking up my new 3 on Tuesday at Dartford but just had a call to delay collection till Saturday because of the Grand Marks late arrival :(

Sugar, I have been fearing this. I am booked in for the 3rd and have taken the day off to, I am not convinced my car will be there. However i will say I'm pleasantly surprised that they emailed you rather than you finding out when you got to them!

I wonder if grand mark will doc around the same time challenge did last Tuesday... we only have a few hours to wait and see.

I wonder whether this effects already scheduled deliveries?

I am hoping its the same as last week, gets to around early afternoon and she will dive in to port once the right people have been paid!

All things are possible and I am sure your sources are better than mine, I would say the week before the storm was more severe and it didn't stop the Cosmos from docking? Mr Mis is batting a pretty high number in terms of being rather accurate when it comes to Tesla's being shipped to Europe!

The challenge. It circled from last Saturday evening all the way through till Tuesday once the US bank holiday was over.

I hope Mr Mis doesn't throw me out but i got my text today, slightly shipping related as i was told this morning i was on the Grand Mark, previously has been told the Challenge, Who knows, my collection is March 3rd!!!

Very odd, you may have mentioned but what is your pick up location? Heathrow i know turns over a lot of cars. We both got our Vin on the same day it would seem too

Did you speak with Tesla to tel you they are from the Grand Mark?

It seems a theme today, after being told Challenge on multiple occasions, todays its the grand mark, i do get concerned by Tesla giving out miss information. I suppose another alternative is my car is in Zeeb from the challenge and they are going to put it on the Grand Mark perhaps!

I'm Dartford, Tesla swore blind to me i was on the challenge and haven't received the magic text yet :( I've not lost hope buts im starting to thunk they told a little white lie to me.

I do wonder, whether it was not originally scheduled, whether they will try and make an exception here, rather than charter another ship to take a small set of cars from Zeeb to Southampton after it looks like the northern ones are on the way to Grimsby.

Surely the issue should only relate to the challenge, being as Cosmos docked without issue last week and Grand Mark's schedule should remain unaffected?

You think this is now an operational delay, rather than weather now? to the earlier point though this must be costing a fortune! My hope is that the cars dont fall into a Tesla shaped crack where they just get forgotten some where in storage near zeeb whilst they figure out what to do!

Its driving me mad watching the Challenge go round in circles haha, they say a watched pot never boils, I'm changing it to a watched ship never docks! More that 24 hours overdue now.

Challenge was never going to Southampton but it will slow the onward journeys of cars. Not sure how the Cosmos was able to dock last week when challenge is not able too!

What spec did you order? I ordered on the 18/1 and I believe I’m on the challenge

one side of fleet has never worked, a farmer wont allow the cable to be run across their land. You can drive a little further and then swing back to the other side which is operational.

if you google tesla hidden VIN there are some good posts but this should give you what you need. Reveal your VIN before it appears on your account

According to Tesla I am on that ship and so far i have not had a message. Hope that is not a bad sign!

Ah I do remember that! if the Southampton stop is not Tesla related i guess the RHD cars will make their way to these shores by alternative methods.

@Mr Miserable will the Challenge take the same route as the Cosmos i.e. Zee and then on to Southampton or will the cars be transported a different way as has happened in the past?

I had previously phoned about 5 times and they would never confirm, then BAM, today they told me exactly where my car is. Maybe they dont tell early as there is potential that the VIN could be reassigned but once it gets this close it could be quite unlikely.

So I just spoke with Tesla and for the first time they confirmed my car is on a ship and that ship is the challenge! ETA for my delivery is in about 3 weeks, which makes sense when some on the Cosmos are not getting theirs for another 10/12 days or so. Like everything I take it with a pinch of...

I believe it used to be when going through Panama but i think that has changed. I ordered on the 18th of Jan, I had my hidden VIN by the 25th which was the first time i searched for it. That was before the Cosmos was even at Panama, so i had hoped to be on the that ship however i did not...

I had my VIN around the same time and have not had any contact from Tesla, I have asked multiple times but they will not confirm what ship i am on, only that it is heading for Zee.

I find it odd that people have different experiences calling Tesla, I have been VIN matched for 2 weeks but they are always unwilling to tell me if I'm on a ship or not!

Thats my exact spec too! How did they confirm, I have called numerous times but they wont confirm a ship.
