Tesla mobile ranger just completed the retrofit and I'm off to test it now! Estimated 55-minute job but he finished it in 15-20 minutes. He mentioned it's easier to access the area than Model S/X. He couldn't do anything about the diagnostic fee and I didn't push it. Final bill was $521.

Tesla just confirmed my mobile appt for the retrofit. Apparently it is going to be $521 for me, possibly because I'm at 56K miles and out of warranty?

That sucks. It may take a while then for the agents to catch on the service is truly available. Either that or the app is listing the retrofit prematurely before it's ready.

Mine is also mobile service with a 4hr window, but my experience is it often defaults to mobile service until the service appt gets reviewed and confirmed by a Tesla agent, at which time it can change to a service center visit. Hopefully mobile ranger can take care of it all in my driveway. 🤞

I don't notice a huge difference in efficiency. On my normal morning commute the Medusas were 1% worse than stock aero covers, but that could just be margin of error. Overall I don't think the Medusas are any better nor worse than the OEM aero covers.
