Could Tesla solar panels connections to grid and house have been mixed up?

Wow! 4-5 months to fix a configuration issue? That's ridiculous. Boo Tesla.

Putting some numbers on the factors that affect range

Since my previous post the public J1772 L2 EVSE I'm using just aborted it's charge again. I realize this is a bit off topic but since I suspect folks reading this thread may be interested in cross country travels I'll post one last time. The unit I'm on is an Aerovironment EVSE-RS+ Level II...

Putting some numbers on the factors that affect range

Chad, not sure a second charger would have helped me since 70A J-1772 units seem to be very rare in the wild and the standard L2 units and RV Park 14-50R outlets max out at 10KW or less anyway. If I had the elusive Roadster adapter it would be a different story as there are several Roadster...

Putting some numbers on the factors that affect range

Another data point Thanks Chad, I just completed the first leg of essentially the same route down I-5 from Seattle (I'm recharging myself and the Model S at the Motel 6 near Oakland, OR). It's nice to see some real data on how the mountains south of Canyonville will affect my range tomorrow as...

    Firmware 4.2

According to the (poorly written) owner's guide on page 17: "If you change the charge level, Model S remembers. To change the levelfor one session only, you need to manually change it back again. "

    Model S Lease Speculation Thread

How about reserving another car before 12/31 to lock in pricing and if leasing is not available by the time your first res is ready to configure then cancel it. Leasing will most likely be available by the time your new res comes up for configuration.

    Advice on Finalizing Your Order

Has anyone else verified that this is the case? This would be huge if high amp public charging stations become more commonplace.
