Yup I agree with you. Tesla will definitely make this vehicle a 4 door since they will also use this car for their “robotaxi” fleet.

The software fix worked for a whole month for me before it died again. I would recommend you do the daughterboard replacement if you want to keep MCU1.

Which Bluetooth bugs? I haven’t had an issue with Bluetooth.

Looks like the analog tuner takes too much time and effort to remove and install the new digital tuner that goes with MCU2.

Yup it’s that one. Just take it out for 30 seconds and you should hear the the AC compressor turning off while the fuse is out.

When my MCU died, my AC also stayed on. For me taking out the MCU fuse for 30 seconds turned off the AC.

Try asking your SC because I also have a 2015 Model S 85D and I am getting my MCU2 upgrade on Monday.

I'm hoping they have a MCU1 just lying around at the SC. Sadly I ran out of warranty.

I will definitely ask for MCU2 but if the SC tells me they have to order it, unfortunately I will have to decline since I need my car to work.

My MCU1 just died today and now I won’t be able to upgrade to MCU2 since I have to pay for a replacement MCU1. RIP

From what I have heard the reason the upgrade takes out FM/AM radio is because for some reason the upgraded tuner isn’t included in the upgrade.

Does anyone know if the MCU2 upgrade will also upgrade the connectivity from 3G to LTE?

It might be a bug in the update, Tesla has already released 10.2 so what I’m guessing is that V10 is really buggy right now.

I don’t have V10 yet, but have you tried resetting the car by holding down the two scroll wheels?

Hi everyone! I just took my AP1 2015 MS85D to the service center to have the latest update pushed to my car. But they told me that they wouldn’t be able to do that because I was already on the latest update for my MS which is weird because other AP1 cars have the latest update. I’m on 2018.50.6
