Yeah, I think your last hypothesis may be the correct one. Mine is 2106 October delivery, but bought FSD (around) same time as you. Oh well, no choice but to wait it out. Thanks for the info.
What year/model is you car? I was also just there for service (with great all around experience). I’m also due for FSD upgrade, but was told it’s being done by VIN bins, and it’s not my turn yet . So, curious if there is rhyme or reason to it.
Yeah, especially inasmuch as -- or maybe because -- they managed to build and get licensed an entire Gigafactory ½ across the world in literally 1/2 the amount of time.
Was by today and there is at least furniture in the showroom, and some actual Tesla vehicles in the service area. However, a person in there said it would not be open for another few weeks. So, the wait continues.
Was just by and told they are shooting for an opening of 10/18. Fingers crossed. Sounds like it will jut be an SC for now, though they clearly have it laid out for a showroom / sales floor should that become a possibility.
Just heard from a local body shop that they were hoping to open “3rd quarter” (so much for projections about this summer), but township licensing is holding them up (apparently the shop took 10 years to get theirs for some recent work they did).
FWIW: Was just at Springfield SC, and asked about Lawrenceville. The tech said it is slated to open in July, and they are eager for it to help with their backlog. Fingers crossed, but only lightly.
