Just to confirm that I did hard reboot (keeping both rollers down until the Tesla logo re-appered on the screen) and the problem seems to have gone away. The car now wakes up as before (usual wake up roll icon for a few sec and then the charge bar gets green above the car). Sorted then ;-)
