I've had my P for about 2 months now and would definitely recommend if money is not a concern. It's not just the acceleration but overall handling and braking is better on the P. Just like you I test drove them back to back and do not regret my decision one bit.

Yes mine was installed by mobile service about a week after delivery. They seem to get them in stock in batches so keep checking with the SC.

I test drove the LR AWD and the P3D back to back and brakes was the biggest difference I could feel apart from the acceleration, LR AWD is no slouch but the brakes just don't keep up.

The lootbox only shows the miles acquired using referrals and not the 6/9 month FUSC that people got before Jan 2019.

Check your lootbox in the app. If you have free supercharging miles, it will show you the remaining miles you have.

Congrats!! Fun times ahead!! My delivery experience was the same...test drove Friday morning to decide between P3D and AWD. Order placed Fri evening for inventory P3D...picked it up on Sunday afternoon. Whole process was smooth except I never got a referral applied which the sales rep promised.

I've seen it both ways, most of the time it does disengage Autosteer without me touching the steering, I've had a few instances where Autosteer was still engaged with the turn signal on and I had to force take control of the steering.

Performance dropped in price by $3500 and it still gets it for free. Much better deal from a day ago.

It's not just cruise control, it's basically "Active" cruise control (as other manufacturers call it) plus Autosteer. So the car will "Steer", "Brake" and "Accelerate on its own in the same lane. I still find it quite useful on my commute drives where I don't need to change lanes lanes often.

AP will only autosteer in your current lane. Once you engage the turn signal AP gets disabled and you need to take control of the car to make the lane change, you need to engage AP again once you complete the lane change. TACC however stays enabled throughout.
