    Car "Bra"?

I did a long trip recently and got a couple of stone chips. The Tesla repair shop applied some touch up paint (base colour plus the metallic on top and finally some clear coat) all for free which was very generous of them. The results are good but not perfect; they explained that a bonnet...

    Interesting variation on ICEd charger

One Tesla 30 amp charger at Burnside Village has been out of action for about a week now. It is cordoned off and there is a pool of water. I wondered at first if it had been ICEd and someone had melted the offender but it turns out it's a leak from the pipe above. Hopefully they fix it soon.

    Is the Tesla warranty substandard?

Am I the only one who is totally disappointed in the Tesla Australian 4 year 80,000kms warranty? When many makers are offering 100,000km warranties, and many more moving to unlimited kms, I'm feeling Tesla's warranty should be better. I know the battery and drivetrain warranty is very good, but...

    Why I love my 70D

Its official, I am a Tesla fan boy. Reasons are: 1. Most comfortable ride I've had, ever. I've had a few cars and this is by far the best. 2. Second easiest car to get in and out of (I still believe my old Prius III was best, but only by a bit). This is important to me because I drive...

Would $80,000 get me a used Model S anytime soon?!

Hi there, Just joined. I live in Eltham North in Melbourne and I am very keen to get a Model S. We just got back to Sunnyvale CA after a week long trip to Vegas, Grand Canyon, LA and back to Sunnyvale. Added over 3,000 km to Tom's P85D.
