Apologies if I'm missing an obvious thread that might help with this, but need some advice from those in the know on this please.
Long story short is this - debris in the passenger side outer tail/brake light (UK car) - this is the charge port side of the car (2017 model S).

I have the tow hitch but wanted to add a brake light that plugs into it to light up when I hit the brakes.
Anyone install one that they recommend? Is any other wiring needed for it?

I just discovered this today. Looking inside the car, there doesn't appear to be any obvious way to access that area. Any ideas? Anybody have this happen before?
I have seen quite a few awful looking brake strips. One I saw had 1/3 of the LED's dead, and the rest of them were varying brightness with a couple of dead LED's in the strip.
Most brake strips I've seen have a big difference in brightness of the LED's
