Date on build date sticker is wrong on my Model Y [Update: Build date is mm/yy format]
My Model Y was delivered to my home (touchlessly) last Tuesday, May 19. Interestingly, the sticker on the car says it was built on May 20. Tesla factory gate vin checker
It seems Tesla have started to publish the factory gate date for cars on their listings. This tool lets you put in your vin and tells you the dates of nearby car vins to see when they were built/left the factory. If you have the vin but no idea when you might get it, this should at least help...- DrJFoster

Any way to get build date on a CPO?
On all my old cars I could tell the build date because it was built into the VIN. I have decoded my MS VIN and found that such info is not included. I am curious about this because build date would give me the start point for the 8 year warranty. Sorry if this was asked before but I could not...- Father Bill
