doors open dimensions

Hi all! I just upgraded from a 2020 model x long range plus to a brand new model x plaid. In my 2020, the front driver and passenger side doors would open all the way with the key fob (as long as they weren't obstructed, of course) but in the new one they don't. They only pop open about 6 to 8...

This just happened on my 2 months old MS 100D: girl tries to open rear passenger door and fingernail goes into narrow opening behind handle, getting stuck! I had never even noticed that there is an opening there. Anyone else have this experience???
