A dig ticket has been filed on behalf of Tesla for placing electric to charging stations. The site is the Quik Star on Isaac Newton near the 30/35 interchange. Couldn’t find a building permit so hopefully someone can check this out in person...

New Supercharger coming soon to Cedar Rapids, IA. 8 stalls are coming soon to the Hy-Vee located at 20 Wilson Ave SW, more precisely on the highlighted part in the parking lot. Plans out next week

I live in eastern Iowa and my tesla S has the 21 inch arachnid wheels. We get some pretty good storms in February March and even April. I plan to drive the factory installed tires in the chill acceleration mode, but do not know if this eliminates the need for winter tires. Your thoughts please

I ran across this proposal from Iowa to Electrify America (VW) in which they did outreach to find sites interested in hosting level 3 charging stations. One of the sites was Dows Junction, a truck stop on I-35 which is just about the only suitable site in the area. Since Dows has a Coming Soon...

With all the great progress being made on I-80 in Iowa, any word on the Quad City location? The Hyvee on 53rd St in Davenport has a Market Grill and would provide easy access to both I-74 and I-80.
