Found this next to my car after mobile service

Any ideas what this is? I had my tires rotated today (mobile service) and this was on the ground next to my car. Is this needed? Maybe it fell off his jack? It wasn’t there before he came, but it was there after he left.

    Tire Rotation

I have a 2023 Tesla S, 21" Arachnid Wheels. 2800 miles. Goodyear All Season Tires. Can anyone tell me: 1) when I should have the tires rotated? 2) do I take it to Tesla or will they come to my home? Anything else I need to know? Thanks in advance!

Tire Rotation - Tesla Dealership or Local Auto Service Place

I'm coming up on 6K miles on my 2023 MYLR. The Tesla dealership is 30 miles and takes about an hour each way with traffic. I was curious whether it's worth the trip or if the local tire and service shop can do an adequate job. My biggest concern is whether it will be obvious to the shop people...

Hello all, I have a Model 3 RWD. I have a spare tire question. I need a full-size spare for times when I take road trips to remote areas with no cell phone coverage and having to avoid interruption due to tire availability. Spare: I have a new OEM 18 inch wheel and a universal TPMS sensor as...

Tesla Mobile Service No Show - Unresponsive

Hi All, Newbie here to this app and forum, but figured I’d give it a try. I own a Tesla Model 3 (since circa 2018) long range and love it. I’ve always scheduled service maintenance visits via the Tesla App with no issues. I’ve always been able to schedule services at the service centers...

    Tire Rotation Question

Question about tire rotation (non-directional) on my M3LR: My front tires are currently at 4/32 My rear tires are at 7/32** **I had to get two new rear tires because I incurred a flat on one of them, and because of AWD dynamics, I had to replace two instead of just one. I'm assuming I can't...

Detailed Tesla Model Y wheel swap checklist!

Hi everyone, My partner and I both spent the last weekend swapping from winter tires to summer tires on our Tesla Model Y. (We live in Toronto, Canada so this is standard procedure 2x a year). We've never done any kind of DIY car maintenance before (this is our first car!), so we treated this...

    Triangle NC: Tire rotation

I live in Chapel Hill and work in RTP. Where do you guys go for a tire rotation? I'm at 7,500 miles and have heard many times on forums about making sure the tire place lifts the car properly. Anyone used Chapel Hill Tire? Or discount tire on High House/55 in Cary? I've heard the Tesla...

Do you really need tire rotation?

I owned ICE cars for more than 15 years and have never rotated any tires. I drive about 12K mile per year. I had to replace tires on my VW Tiguan after 5 years / 60K because the tire is leaking but the MIDAS people could not find any nails. Not sure if this is related to my not rotating the...

MASTER THREAD: Jack Points — location, use, damage, pads, etc.

Model S and X have rectangular lifting pads with 3 holes and they are located on the outer edge. Model 3 Jack Points look different (triangular with 1 hole?) and they are not located anywhere near the outer edge but rather more inward. Would anyone please take a picture because the drawing is...

    Tire Rotation

have any of you had problems going to a non-Tesla dealer for a rotation? Is there something special I need to make sure of before going to a non-Tesla place? Or-do any of you think its worth the Tesla price? Thanks for any feedback in advance!

Is it possible to get MX on jack stands using air suspension (no floor jack)

I want to powder coat my rims. I'd like to get all 4 wheels off the ground at the same time in order to remove the tires and get the rims coated. It is unfortunate that there are so few jacking locations on this vehicle. My thought is to drive all 4 wheels on top of concrete blocks that are...

Rotating tires on an X? Annual service fail...

So, I had my tires rotated on my one-year-old MX 75D as part of my first-year service. When I brought it back in (metallic scraping sound on turning the wheels), the SC unrotated the tires, but failed to realign them. So I brought it back in again. Third time's a charm. Anyone else had this...
