I've seen a number of people who've told me as long as the model s is built past October 2014, it has the hardware available to upgrade to AutoPilot for 2.5k, is this true? I'm looking at a CPO that is past p50000 and wanted to know if I could upgrade it.

It looks like rumors that the new 48 amp charger in both Model S and Model X is upgradeable after delivery to 72 amps were true. The cost is $1,900. See the bottom of this image from the current Model S design studio. The same language is on the Model X studio as well.

I know there is a test showing the center console USB ports only outputs around 1 amp each. Has anyone bought a 2-port, 2.1 amp,aftermarket USB charger and tried to upgrade the USB ports from the back? Does anyone know how to take the center console apart? I'm trying to charge up my iPad...

Each time my 2013 S has gone to the shop, it has come back with something updated/upgraded. I gather that there are other things that they'll update if you ask... I wonder what those have been for you? ...and therefore what I might request when it goes back in for scheduled service in March...

Imagine Tesla would have a battery that offers a 10% higher capacity than the 85. Same size, same weight, just 10% more range. How much would you be willing to pay for a 93 kWh battery instead of the 85 when ordering a new car?
