I bought a USB-C to USB-A adapter from Amazon but it won't work charging our iPhones although it worked when plugged into a PC. Aside from the official iPhone USB-C to lightning cables, has anyone have any success with adapters or 3rd party USB-C to Lightning cables?

I got my model 3 delivered today and as I was doing my walk through I noticed that my car did not have the Lighting/USB-C cables. I told this to the person assisting me and she said that Tesla was no longer giving those cables out to model 3 owners and that they had to be purchased separately...

I’m surprised that the M3 is not shipped with USB-C, many car companies are future proofing there cars and adding the hardwear for example the new RAM. I would think Tesla would be leading the way here. Thoughts?

Has anyone found a good USB-C cable to use with the Quick Connection Phone Dock? I'm getting a new phone soon, and it is going to have USB-C. I know Tesla still doesn't offer their own USB-C cable for the phone dock, but I'm hoping that there's a decent aftermarket cable I can use with it.
