    iPhone Charging using Rear USB-C

I bought a USB-C to USB-A adapter from Amazon but it won't work charging our iPhones although it worked when plugged into a PC. Aside from the official iPhone USB-C to lightning cables, has anyone have any success with adapters or 3rd party USB-C to Lightning cables?

    Sharing USB-C with Wireless Charger?

I tried searching to see if this was asked already, but I never found any threads with titles that seemed relevant. The MY has 2 data ports up front, USB-C and USB-A which from what I understand is 2.0, not 3.0, so only 500mA. Don't know why Tesla would go through the trouble to add USB-C...

Cellphone tray modification for tall phones, model 3

I have equipped my (pretty tall) Galaxy Note-9 cellphone with "Wsken Magnetic USB Type C Cable – Android Charger adapter". I love the convenience, but using this adopter in my phone, makes it impossible to just lay the phone in my Tesla Model-3 tray, for charging on the go. It is just too tall...

How to Power/Charge Your Laptop in a Tesla using USB-C Power

I've wanted to power and charge my Thinkpad T480 laptop in my Tesla Model 3 using the enormous power of the Tesla batteries. I tried using a USB to USB-C cable from all the different USB connectors in the Tesla - NO LUCK; I tried charging a external battery pack and powering my laptop from it -...

Designing a new USB Hub for Model 3

Hi, I'm a month old SR+ owner. I really like how Tesla has data enabled front USB ports for connecting your phone or storage device (for Sentry). However I realized that the front USB ports do not allow for fast charging (Limited to USB 2.0 standards of 0.5A each). I recently came across the...

[Resolved - Inaccurate] Model 3 no longer delivered with lightning /USB-C cable

I got my model 3 delivered today and as I was doing my walk through I noticed that my car did not have the Lighting/USB-C cables. I told this to the person assisting me and she said that Tesla was no longer giving those cables out to model 3 owners and that they had to be purchased separately...

    USB-C

I’m surprised that the M3 is not shipped with USB-C, many car companies are future proofing there cars and adding the hardwear for example the new RAM. I would think Tesla would be leading the way here. Thoughts?

Official USB c for center console?

I've been to the service center several times, and asked about a USB C adapter for my center console that replaces the lightning one that came with my model s. No one seems to know if they even exist. Has anyone successfully had an official one installed? I know there are some non official ones...

    USB-C Quick Connection Phone Dock

Has anyone found a good USB-C cable to use with the Quick Connection Phone Dock? I'm getting a new phone soon, and it is going to have USB-C. I know Tesla still doesn't offer their own USB-C cable for the phone dock, but I'm hoping that there's a decent aftermarket cable I can use with it.
