So where in Hamamatsu would you guess? I bet within Basia shopping mall complex, but there are some large factories such as Roland DG, Yamaha and Omron. They all should have high voltage feed access.

The problem is the Mall is 5.1km from Hamamatsu smart exit so it would need 16 minutes round trip.
CHAdeMO 46 min = 50 x 0.9 x 46 / 60 = 34.5kWh = 172km
SC 30 min = 44kWh = 220km - 10km = 210km
So it's still better to use SC as SC would have more than two units (hopefully four).
Above is an ideal situation where you have almost empty battery there. If you have half full battery, say, 150km left (like you drive from Tokyo),
CHAdeMO 30 min = 50 x 0.9 x 30 / 60 = 22.5kWh = 112km (265km)
SC 14 min = 16.8kWh = 84km - 10km = 74km
SC 24 min = 22.4kWh = 112km - 10km = 102km
SC 30 min = 30.2kWh = 151km - 10km = 141km

If you go point A - SC (with exit and entry) - point B instead of going straight, you'll be charged a little bit more. Also, sometimes you hit into special discount rates so in that case you will be hit and miss.

On my first road trip to Osaka, I missed a ramp change and had to get off near Yamaguchi. That leg cost ¥9,900; to Osaka another ¥9,900. Coming back, I got it right; the total return was ¥9,900. Double the price is kinda steep for a very quick charge.
Hi, Jay, usually taking off highway once doesn't cause that kind of charges. Maybe 500 yen Max. You could be traveling at night on return, or weekend. The discount system is very complex!
